Basic French Bistro Food

Had a late night dinner with friends, the food is good, the service is good, the decor is of a simple french brasserie: wood, black & white tiles... Overall a good casual evening meal!

This branch in Notting Hill is to be praised for its excellent management and friendly, and well trained staff. We have been going to this branch as a group of friends, for many years, and the food is consistently good and reasonable in price. Try their specials; fish dishes are varied and excellent, and the meat dishes, for example duck,... More

My wife and I had a lovely Sunday lunch at Cote Brasserie in Notting Hill. We started with French onion soup that was excellent. Then we both ordered the Briton chicken with mushroom and thyme cream sauce which was also excellent and quite a bargain. Our servers were from Poland and Barcelona respectively and were very attentive. I would recommend... More

Delicious food (I had the Goat's Cheese Salad), quiet but very nice atmosphere. Staff was nice and attentive. Surprisingly while I was there, another couple ended up sending their food back to the kitchen, and leaving. I don't know what the issue was, but I experienced no such problem. Would recommend, although I don't know if it was truly authentic... More

I've eaten in York branch and enjoyed promising that I would sample their main menu next time, originally choose the early evening menu. I was not disappointed by main menu wide choice of starters and mains I had the roast pork tenderloin which was so tender it just melted in the mouth, mm friends ordered steak and they agreed the... I have been to this branch of Cote many times as its local to me and it never disappoints. The staff seem to be really on the ball and I find service to be friendly and helpful but never overbearing. Food is always so tasty, the chicken I had yesterday was so tender. They also do a set menu meaning... More

We live 100m from this restaurant and it's become a family favourite for a convenient and quick meal that avoids shopping and cooking. Friendly staff give a warm welcome and timely service. Reasonable selection of French wines at sensible prices. The 'cidre' is also good. Choice of beers is limited. Tempting starters such as Saucisson Sec, pate, bread, oil, olives,... More
