As a group of seven we got a separate room in the back where it was more quiet. We definitely can recommend this if you are looking for a more quite place. The other places in the main area are quite noisy and more for small parties. The food recommended was very good even though please take into consideration the... More

Took my husband and 2 sons to Hix Soho, such a lovely afternoon. The staff were very attentive Tyrone, Peter, Ige and Morgan were amazing. The food was excellent. After lunch, went down to the bar and had cocktails, perfect way to end the day! We will come back again.....

Poor Service and rude staff! I was in london for work and it so happened that I was alone on a saturday evening. I decided to check out Hix , Mark's bar for some drinks before dinner. I was shocked when the manager asked me to leave and said there is a huge queue! The line had two couples before... More

Ok, things went wrong. We sat late, food arrived late and we couldn't get one of the dishes we wanted. None of that mattered! The team over compensated our loss with a Hix Fix and some good humour. Have eaten here three times since and will be back. No strong meal recommends, try everything and challenge what you would normally... More

I was able to reserve a table on the busiest day in December 2014 (Friday 19th) as a surprise for my husband as we were visiting the theatre that evening (jersey Boys). The staff could not be more welcoming and helpful. We were early so we went and started the evening with 3 (or 4) delicious cocktails in Marks Bar.... More

We visited Mark's Bar on a recommendation from the receptionist at NOPI Ottolenghi. Was very impressed with the bar itself and the drinks, along with the service, were fantastic. Only reason I can't award this 'Very Good' was our group's consensus disappointment with the snacks! The offering was fine, but perhaps just not what the place needs. There's a restaurant... More

When you go to Hix, you instantly feel at home. Whether you're having a drink after work at the buzzing bar downstairs, or enjoying some really good food with friends or colleagues in the restaurant upstairs, you will always feel welcome. The service is slick, friendly and professional with a range of staff who all know the menu and wine... More

I bought 2 Groupon vouchers for £25 each, the deal was for a 3 course set meal with a signature cocktail. As soon as we presented the vouchers, the menu was whisked away, rudely and we were told 'they would make an exception' and gave us the lunch menu. The 'signature' cocktail tasted of a simple Kir Royale with a... More

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
