Marks Bar

Love this bar nestled in the basement - its quite chilled, staff friendly, cocktails good (the nigeroni was good!) and its nice and cosy. Great place for drinks on a date night :-) Only slight issue was the restrooms were not in great condition, aside from that, will be drinking here again x

Came for a dinner with friends on a workday! Great place, loved the bar, nicely decorated. The food was good and so was the service. It is a great place for dinner with friends or a date.

We visited Hix for a pre-theatre meal. Nice laid back atmosphere, good buzz and decor made for an excellent back drop to the meal. The menu has a real British feel, serving good quality, simple dishes at sensible prices. I fancied a burger. Yes boring and I wouldn't usually order one in this type of restaurant but it was perfect!... More

Hix is an excellent resturant right in the heart of the West End. They have brilliantly cooked food and a good wine list. Service is equally brilliant and their private dining room ensures you get privacy but the atmosphere of a buzzing restaurant. The choice of steaks is impressive and all quality cuts. Well done guys, a real find and... More

I had an amazing experience from the Start to the End. Staff from the reception to the bar and to the dinning table were so welcoming. I go out a lot but the kind of service we received in HIX soho, I haven't experienced anywhere else. Our table was reserved for 2145 but as it was friday, we had to... More

Shared a 500gm steak between me and a partner as suggested by our wonderful waiter. Perfectly seared, came with delicious sauces and a beefy salt. Sharing the steak with additional sides, soda and good company, perfect midweek dinner.

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
