This a nice place but a wee bit expensive. It was clean and staff were friendly. The place was busy when we were there because winter wonderland had just opened. Lovely views over the park and serpentine.
Used this restaurant whilst visiting Winter Wonderland (which is fantastic!). The staff are really unfriendly and one male member of staff seemed really put out when I asked for a high chair. We ordered the salmon steak and for £15 per meal we were expecting a good portion size however this was not the case. The fillet was small and... More
Popped here for breakfast, we decided to have the porridge, but it was too creamy for me. I should have asked for skimmed milk. The service was great. From what I could see though the food looked good. The place was lovely, great views of Hyde Park.
My wife and I stopped off here on the way to Winter Wonderland to get some breakfast. The service was good and so was the food. Situated at the east end of the Serpentine it has some senic views and some tame squirrels and waterfowl. Very pleasant.
The Serpentine has a lovely location at the east end of the Serpentine in Hyde Park. The interior is pleasant, modern and stylish with big glass windows to make the most of the view. There is also outdoor seating under a magnificent weeping willow tree. The service was a little slow despite the restaurant being nearly empty (we went for... More
As a family with a two year old, we took a chance on this as, unlike many restaurants in this kind of price range, there isn't someone to seat you and advise where is appropriate to sit. We inadvertently sat at someone's table who was queuing to order - we had thought the half-drunk smoothie had just not been cleared... More
This simple tasty restaurant is a great go that make you feel on holidays in the centre of this great City. The weather was not great but in spite of it we enjoyed our pizzas and the best fish and chips ever! People were sitting on the water terrace but it was a bit chilly. We enjoyed the view from... More
Fun place right on the pond/lake. Lots of people relaxing and having a good time in the evening. No reservations, order and pick up at the bar but good food and very good prices - pizzas, salads, etc. Tables turn over fairly quickly so don't worry if you don't see one right away. Look on the deck and on the... More
Had breakfast on several occasions or mid morning snacks over several months. Always fresh, quality food. Always a pleasure, even on one's own, as staff warm and welcoming. Fun too, people watching. After a long walk its a great meeting place, central, but within easy access. So highly recommended.
Had a lunch and breakfast here and the food was really good. Staff were friendly and service was fast even with big queues. Steak ciabatta sandwich very nice. Full breakfast was good but only one sausage. All in all the food is good if a bit pricey.
