We visited this Restaurant recently, for the first time, as a special celebration dinner with our family and were not disappointed. The service was first class without being intrusive. We relaxed before dinner in the very comfortable bar and were offered canapes with our drinks which were all delightful. We were also able to admire the lovely garden and were... More

I was taken to The Goring for my birthday treat. What a place, great ambiance, the staff were great not at all stuffy made us very welcome, although portion sizes not huge, they were cooked to perfection. Staff took the time to talk about the hotel and show me around, well worth a visit as a special treat and be... More

Dined here for dinner recently and had an absolutely faultless evening, the food was tremendous and the service was some of the best I have ever experienced. Highlights were a cured sea bass dish and an amazing eton mess. Overall it was a lovely, elegant, refined meal. Highly recommended!

Took advantage of the Star Deal to dine at The Goring and thoroughly enjoyed every moment; in fact, I will go so far as to say the whole experience was faultless. After being received by the friendly doorman, we headed for the very comfortable bar in this stunning Edwardian hotel to have a pre-dinner drink. We were served by a... More

My first visit to the Dining Room at the Goring and what a pleasant experience. From the assured, welcoming service to the relaxed and pleasing setting via excellent food and wine -- a real pleasure. Dishes such as the lobster omelette (with decadently sensational duck fat chips) did not disappoint. And what a nice surprise to find a cheese board... More

The staff at the goring know how to look after guests, pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. Always a pleasure coming to this hotel for Sunday lunch. When we visit London we have got into the habit of rounding out the trip with lunch at the Goring, they always deliver on every level.

Dined here on 16th July 2014. We enjoyed every minute from walking in to leaving. The staff are amongst the best we have experienced. The sommelier was attentive, knowledgable and amusing. The room is beautiful and very comfortable in every way. The chandeliers are a matter of taste but I found they were out of keeping with the rest of... More

I came here for the chef, who previously ran the outstanding Bingham Hotel restaurant in Richmond. It was only upon telling friends where I was going that reference to the royal wedding was made. Putting aside any contemporary newsworthiness, this restaurant is simply outstanding in every way. Pretty much every course sounded wonderful, with a slight twist of the unusual.... More
