We had an extremely civilised lunch here. Drinks first in the bar overlooking the garden then into the dining room. This is a very attractive space with lots of light from windows on two sides. The food was very good presented in an imaginative way. The service was exceptional. Definite recommendation - probably for a special occasion as it is not cheap

I was invited here by my Friend Mr Hibbert who used to frequent regularly when he was working in town, the whole journey from arrival and being greeted by name to leaving the experience was first class, its no surprise the Royals & Gentry choose to eat here. The sommelier was not only very knowledgeable, professional but also approachable and... More

My husband and I took advantage of the offer of a special star menu offer for dinner at The Goring Hotel Dining Room and it was wonderful. The dining room itself is luxurious and elegant and we were warmly greeted on arrival. The meal from start to finish was a dream. I might have had the thought that with a... More

I chose to come to The Goring Dining Room for Sunday lunch to celebrate my mother's 85th birthday because I had had a previous good experience at lunch time, because I knew that the service would be excellent, that the dining room is bright, airy, that the tables are far enough apart to have a good conversation without being concerned... I had a excellent lunch with my family at the Goring dining room today. Wonderful food, great wine and a lovely ambience. Will definitely return. However, when I do, I will insist on being allowed to keep my bottles of mineral water on the table. At many times during the meal some of our party's water glasses were empty for... More

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
