Visited for our wedding anniversary mid week - after a drink in the fabulous bar, next to the open fire, we were shown through to our table and seated in the large, elegant restaurant. Service was impeccable and the meal superb - everything you would expect from a great old hotel!

A party of us enjoyed a lovely lunch. The food was very good, the service was fantastic and the restaurant is a very pleasant place to eat. The price was not exorbitant. We have all come away smiling.

An excellent meal at the Goring. The Bar and Dining Room are beautiful, the service is sublime and the food spectacular! Beautifully presented and really delicious - the rabbit and foie gras was worth the visit all on its own. Really looking forward to going back soon.

In London for the day and off to lunch at the Goring with two friends. It started early and finished later in the afternoon. The dining room is well appointed and designed. The menu was superb and we had some great wine to go with it. Staff were excellent. This was a very pleasant and memorable lunch. A wee bit... More

Well it was business but so nice to come back here for a meal in this spacious room , with the excellent service . Concentating on what I had , to start the foe gra and rabbit terrine , a thing of beauty , which tasted delicious , then something I have been wary of for years , the lobster... More

The Goring Restaurant and indeed The Goring Hotel is a quiet oasis in the middle of bustling Victoria. It has royal credentials and makes no secret of this including a bust of the Queen Mother in the entrance to the bar. The restaurant is designed by Viscount Linley, the nephew of the Queen. The restaurant itself is light and airy... More

My friends and I were walking around near Buckingham palace and wandered up to The Goring Hotel. A very British doorman with top hat and tails opened the front door and welcomed us in. We walked to The Goring Restaurant and were seated at a table straight away, even though we had no reservation and the place was close to... More

We wanted to go somewhere special for our 1st Anniversary and booked in at The Goring Restaurant - it was a great choice. From the moment we arrived the service was excellent, all the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and very friendly as well - not something you always get with high end restaurants. The food was similarly impressive.... More

I ended up having a three hour lunch meeting here. The service was such that we had a marvelous lunch without intrusive service. The staff all have a great sense of occasion.

A perfect Friday lunch. The Goring may have a traditional British feel but the menu is thoroughly contemporary with a great choice of modern and traditional classics cooked and presented to a very high standard. The three course a la carte lunch at £42.50 must be just about the best 5 star value in London. The service was excellent throughout... More
