We dined at The Goring Dining Room recently and had a wonderful evening. We started with champagne in the hotel bar (lovely) then moved to the dining room. The dining room is very elegant and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We ordered the Beef Wellington for two...and it was amazing. The table next to us saw our Beef... More

We had a fantastic meal at the Goring on Sunday 23 August for my husband's birthday. It was a beautiful dining room and the staff were most courteous and kind in looking after us so well. Look forward to going back very soon.

Some time ago we had Afternoon Tea at the Goring and always wanted to try the Dining Room. We had lunch there on Sunday. The restaurant is very stylish and grand but in no way stiff. Our three course lunch was delicious and well worth the money. Service was impeccable. The Goring is great and we will go there again.

I booked this restaurant originally for three reasons......one they cater to celiacs and have gluten free appetizers, mains and oh yes dessert......it was close to the Apollo Victoria Theatre as we had tickets to see Wicked..... And I wanted a lovely dinner for my husband to celebrate his 60th birthday. My expectations were far exceeded and more! The meal was... More

We were shown to the dining area after a couple of pre dinner drinks in the Goring lounge. The restaurant was bright airy and spacious with big comfortable seats and plenty of space between the tables. We had a voucher for a 3 course meal with two glasses of wine paired to each menu choice. The meal was excellent as... More

My husband and I first visited The Goring Dining Room six months ago and vowed then to return - last week we did so with our daughters. We were greeted warmly and seated at a lovely round table with crisp white tablecloths, silver cutlery and crystal glasses, which all help to create the Goring's unique atmosphere. We chose celeriac and... More

My husband and I were fortunate to enjoy an evening at The Goring on Friday night. We arrived in good time to enjoy cocktails in the lounge - I could have happily stayed there all night. Such an inviting, comfortable and cosy space. We were booked in for dinner and were very pleased to be given a table near the... More

3 course meal and a bottle of wine for 2 at about £65 after the vat. Special occasion type of place... Nice how the tables are spread out for privacy.

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
