Great place

I ate there 1 week ago... Great food. The chili prawns were really hot and tasty. Followed by a grilled duck that tasted like heaven... They are doing 50% off in their magazine at the new shoreditch branch, get the mag as you walk in , half price off your whole bill, done! However, the pad Thai is a little less tasty than what I remember it . The squid as amazing as ever. The rest of the starters they forgot and we ended up... More

You could tell as soon as you ate the food here that the ingredients were fresh and cooked by a chef with real knowledge of Thai food. We absolutely demolished the Southern Fish Curry (an obscenely awesome amount of Tilapia) and the Ginger Beef, washed down with some tasty BeerLao which again transported us back to our travels. We dined... More

Are here last night with a friend. The atmosphere is super buzzy. And the food is super tasty. We got 2 mains and a small plate and one rice between 2. With a beer and glass of wine it all came to £40 and it was the perfect amount. Super cheap for the flavours. I ordered the fish stir fry... More

We were in the Soho location. This could have been 4 out of 5, but the noise of the crowd was really high level. Plus +high quality food , gently spiced (great padthai) + efficient service + good price Minus -no reservation accepted -very noisy inside Suggestion Get the table in front of the window to see soho life!

My friend and I went to newly opened restaurant at 36 Bethnal Green Road, London. We were very friendly greeted. While waiting for my meal i was suggested a very good drink (mussaman sour) which was excellent. After about 40 minutes we went to dining room (which is the only disadvantage but I still prefer it to waiting in a... More

I have been few time at Busaba Old Street and Covent Garden. All very good. I had one of my worst experience at the Shoreditch branch last weekend! We ordered two draft beers but the waiter told us that they sold it out. The spring rools were ridiculous. Completely different from the usual handmade ones. Completely untasty and probably frozen... Hi Matteo, thank you for taking the time to write a review. Whilst we indicate spice levels by symbols on the menu, we aim to reiterate this through service and are sorry to hear that this was not your experience. We will pass on your feedback to the Busaba Shoreditch staff. We can assure you across locations that each dish... More

No waiting time for seating as usual and service was prompt and food arrived very quickly - maybe a tad too quickly compared to usual?! Old favourites still remain good - crab meat fried rice and tamarind duck are a must try for anyone visiting for the first time...

Turned up without a reservation on a Friday and got seated without any problems. Ordered promptly and food arrived in good time. As always the food was excellent. Service was a bit slow on this busy lunchtime.

Despite the fact that we ate 2 evenings in the same place, for the 3rd evening we were refused to only have some drinks in the restaurant. I felt dissapointed!

Neighborhood Profile
Shoreditch
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighborhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbor can result in fascinating outcomes.
