Dissapointing experience

I have been to this tea room before and had a great experience, I went by myself today for a quick treat. When I arrived I approached the counter to order and confirmed with a colleague I do order at the counter as I was approached quickly. She said yes so I proceeded to look at the cake... read more

This is one of my favourite places for tea in London and this is my 2nd review of Camellia's Tea House. Sadly they are on the move due to a lease issue and will be leaving Kingly Court in May :-( I am a true loyal fan and shall be waiting patiently to take tea in the new location...but please... More

The tea house is tucked right at the back of eclectic Kingly Court and you enter through wooden doors into a tea palace. Jars and cups line the shelves dotted in-between by mismatch crockery in quaint patterns and prints. Rose pink icing topped with jewels of pistachio and shiny pastel macaroons wink at you from the counter-tops, just teasing for... More

We stumbled across this place after we all experienced a sudden and uncontrollable urge to have cake, the more luxurious the better. We setting for this establishment is pretty enough- it is easy to forget you are in the hustle and bustle of England when you look out the window here. The waiting process could be made a little nicer-... More

The place is well decorated and you will feel the vintage style of afternoon tea. Came here with friends. Love the green tea latte, it was lovely.. Been in afternoon tea a lot around London hotels, however I found the afternoon tea package a little expensive for £17.50, good for one. The bottom layer of the tea plate with 3... More

I have been visiting camellia's for years and the tea shop never fails to please me! My sister organised my 'baby shower' here recently and had a very pleasant experience with booking it which went smoothly. The staff were very friendly and were very attentive to our requests. We ordered a beautiful selection of cakes and teas - the best... More

During the booking process, the staff were snooty and rude- we overlooked this and hoped it was a "bad day" but when we arrived the whole experience was beyond rude. My aunties had arranged this for my hen party, so we were all looking forward to a lovely civilised afternoon tea to begin our day out. The staff were patronizing,... More

Have been a fan for years. Regularly buy tea and go there to eat and recommend it. I chose to have my birthday afternoon tea here. Unfortunately as soon as we arrived there were problems, starting with our table not being ready in time. I feel that this is quite unacceptable, given this had been booked 4 weeks previously and... Went there after booking a table for nine. Paying a deposit. Got there early enough and then had to wait while our table was cleared of people and food. After which we were told we were late! After sitting down it was a good hour before we saw a pot of tea. No cups. Had to wait again. No sign... More

We found the perfect spot to rest our weary feet after a day of shopping. I can highly recommend the peach white tea & scones!

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
