Circus is an innovative combination of West End cocktail bar and cabaret restaurant set in vibrant Covent Garden. The restaurant boasts a highly praised Pan Asian dinner menu, created and overseen by the revered chef Andrew Lassetter. The stylish surrealist interior, formulated by iconic British designer Tom Dixon, transports guests into a decadent world of glamourous escapism from the moment they enter. For those looking for a drinks or dinner venue in Covent Garden to escape the mundaneness of the outside world, then Circus is ideal; the cocktails are heavenly and the dinner menu will delight even the most discerning of palates. As evening falls, the venue springs to life and the spectacle begins as diners sip exotic punches and cocktails. West End London is synonymous with theatre and drama, so it is fitting that Circus hosts complementary cabaret style entertainment at centre-stage of the venue. The charming and mind bendingly skillful acts appear in little bursts throughout the night to entertain and delight. After dinner, the adventures continue as the music is turned up and improptu dancing often occurs. With knowledgable cocktail bartenders furnishing guests with cleverly crafted drinks late into the night, diners and drinkers alike can relax for an entire evening, with a seamless transition from bar to dining room to dance-floor.

Great Fun But don't go if you want to talk to people

Very entertaining evening out, for also very good, particularly liked the salmon and beef. The only thing I have to say was between the entertainment shows which were good, music is a little loud causing me to have to shout to the person sitting next to me, rather than talk! OK after dinner, but... read more

Not what I expected, but still worth the visit. Food & service was good. The acts were varied some excellent, some good & one weird! If you get a 9.30pm booking you can stay for the night & dance the night away of the big table.

We sat at the stage table last night for a birthday, from the outset, the waiters got bottles of water and never stopped pouring, no one asked for the water. I told the lady stop pouring the glass was over flowing. It is so bloody annoying that you can not even have a sip before they are trying to open... More

We were here for a special occasion and our host had booked the runway table which doubles as the stage. You are almost touching the performers as they strut their stuff right in front of you. On the night we visited there were some very sexy female and male acrobats, a hunky gymnast, a terrific fire eater a hula hooping... More

A warm welcome awaits you as you enter the building, you check your coat in and then enormous doors open and you are led to your table. In front of you is a long wide table that doubles up as a stage where amazing acts are performed in front of you. The format is that you eat a course and... More

A friend of our works here at the Circus, and we were very eager and was looking forward to visiting this venue. Let's put it this way, we left extremely impressed. Coming from a small market town, I have never experienced such extravagance yet elegance on a night out! The food was out of this world, the staff were friendly... More

We went as a birthday treat for our son and had to book quite a few weeks ahead to get a Saturday evening. After walking straight past the entrance once, we managed to find the door; it is a little inconspicuous! We did get there early, around 6:30, were greeted on arrival and shown to our seats. Our waiter for... More

An enjoyable evening had by all, yes it's expensive but the service was good, the food was delicious and the entertainment was not your typical night out. I would recommend it for a special event.

We weren't too sure what to expect and checked the reviews beforehand which were mostly positive.food was very nice and the tempura prawns were gorgeous. The entertainment was brilliant with short sharp bursts which didn't interfere with the meal. Perfect for a special night out. Check the prices on their site to avoid nasty surprises. Hi Penej and thanks for sharing your Circus experience. The tempura prawns are a bit of a favourite of ours too. Really great to see you enjoyed the food. Our toilets can be a little of a mystery, after 5 years I think I have just about found the right way out. When in doubt take a sneaky peek through... More
