Description: Opened at the Berkeley hotel 14th July 2010. Pierre Koffmann was previously the head chef who attained 3 Michelin stars with his restaurant La Tante Claire. He has made a comeback this year following his success at the Pop up restaurant in Selfridges last year in 2009.

Beautiful, classy layout. Worth the visit just for the bread basket! I had the steak which was very well prepared. My guests had the fish and felt it was "quite rubbery" in texture, which was disappointing. Service was first class with a very attentive waiter. Looking forward to returning.

I took my parents here for a special occasion. I was slightly worried by the extremely subdued ambiance (hushed almost); but the service made up for it: attentive, friendly, high class, without being over bearing. The food is first rate French. Once a few more people had arrived, the room seemed to fill out with a more genial buzz.

Koffman isn't trying for stars here...he doesn't need to. This is a restaurant created by a confident chef who knows what the people want. Laid back but very attentive staff. I have visited this restaurant several times for birthdays, anniversaries, high days and holidays so I feel a review is long overdue. Thank you to Michael and staff for an outstanding lunch today. The steaks, Scallops, lobster and wines were superb. We will be back.

Been here a few times, tried their deal with 3 courses , wine and coffee for 42 pounds. excellent all round. Had asparagus soup, liver and floating island. Service very attentive and courteous, not overbearing. Ambience great, tables well spaced and very pleasant.
