Great Food!

Being from Texas I'd like to think I know good Mexican food from bad. If so this place is a keeper. Their guacamole is prepared at the table and is good as anything I have come across. I go to London frequently and will visit this one as much as I can. :-)

We went on a lovely warm weekend evening, two days ago. It seemed that the whole area was buzzing -except here.... However, we continued as had booked it and we were going on recommendations / previous reviews we had read. It was our Anniversary. The food was 'ok'. But we thought a little over priced for what we got. Food... More

My fiancee and I ate here yesterday before heading to a gig at Somerset House. The mexican food was very good and reasonably priced. Next level up on cost from Wahaca, but also next level up on the quality of the food. Can highly recommend the guacamole which is made in front of you at your table. Would recommend to... More

We celebrated our anniversary with a wonderful meal at Cantina Laredo. Everything was perfect. The service was friendly and enthusiastic without being intrusive. It was a hot evening, so we started with non-alcoholic cocktails, which were imaginative and delicious. The guacamole prepared at the table was fantastic and well worth its reputation. My husband's Cascabel Ribeye was cooked to perfection... More

We all know the story too well. You find a nice restaurant that you've never been to, you go in, just by chance and boom, all of a sudden you are in heaven, the food is amazing, the service brilliant and the price, just the right one... Then, a few months later, you decide to repeat. And you find out... More

This place was recommended to me, and after seeing the reviews on Tripadvisor we decided to give it a try, and I have to say it was very average for Mexican food, and not really worth a trip. The chips and salsa were fine. I had two margaritas - the watermelon margarita was decent, but the Patron margarita was not... More

This restaurant is another level. Delicious food, friendly staff and London setting all constitute to the experience here. We had the most delicious guacamole which was made at the table and then tacos to follow. Our waitress, Anna, was lovely and helped us to decide, making us feel very welcome. The pudding was the best bit by far! Pecan chocolate... More

Great service and tasty quality food with gorgeous margarita with salty edge of the glass. My daughter loved her non alcoholic passion fruit cocktail. A short stroll from Covent Garden. We had the guacamole starter mixed fresh at our table - nice touch.

As long as you don't expect something ridiculously unreal, I can't fault this restaurant. The welcome and service were really good, friendly and professional. The style of the place crisp and unfussy but with style. The cocktails were flamboyant and a pleasure on a summer's evening. The guacamole was everything other diners have said and quite distinctive. The food was... More
