Exceptional Deluxe lunch

We had lunch here for the first time and, overall, thought the experience was exceptional in terms of food, service and value. Even though we arrived 15 minutes early, we were shown to our table immediately. We were given the drinks menu and chose a glass of champagne each at £14 a glass. It was... read more

Ten of us were her on Feb 28th in the Games room. At the top of the building so tricky coming down after a few drinks. Great food, impeccable service and very organised. The setting was great and although you need a second mortgage 9 as one of our friends stated) it was worth it for a special treat. I... More

We have been going to Gauthier for about four years having heard of it by word of mouth from various friends. From the start it did not fail to impress and it has continued to be our 'go to' place for special occasions as well as just a treat,in fact we are now ruined for eating anywhere else!Today we went... Gauthier is in a great location, right in the centre of Soho. A perfect place for lunch. On arrival we were shown to our table in the very pleasant dining room on the ground floor. To start with, three of us shared a delicious off dry and fruity Alsace Pinot Gris - the fourth having a glass of rose Champagne.... More

I took my husband to this restaurant as a treat for his birthday. We opted for the lunch menu (£40 each for 3 courses, 2 glasses of wine and a glass of champagne). The restaurant was full but we had a lovely table by the fire. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The wine was also... More

Went for a celebratory work lunch to Gauthier, a place I have always wanted to visit. Food excellent (the pommes mousseline was fantastic - I could eat that forever). However, service was poor. Dishes were brought that weren't ordered, wine took a while to arrive, the music was turned off at 4pm (couldn't be clearer that they wanted us to... More

An unforgettable experience. Gauthier has to be one of the best restaurants in London. From the moment someone opens the door for you until you’re helped on with your coat as you leave, the whole experience was a delight. And the food. Delicious, simply delicious. I began with smoked eel and fois gras in a smoked eel broth. It sounds... More

Here's a copy of what I wrote to the restaurant after our Private dining there last Saturday: ******* Dear Samuel, Just a brief note to say a big thank you to you and your staff who helped my birthday celebrations go so well on Saturday. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, unhurried yet attentive and friendly. I also... More

We had lunch prior to going to the theatre. We opted for the 2 course set lunch with 2 glasses of wine each, chosen to match what you eat. Food was superb, beautifully presented. You are given so many extras and a lovely choice of breads which were offered twice. Service exceptional. Will definitely go back.

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
