It's just been announced that we've made the shortlist for the top 3 businesses in the Best Multiple Foodservice Operator Award, as part of the 2015 National Fish & Chip Awards. Our Fish & Chips are a true British classic, made with our very own London Pride beer batter and served with a generous helping of chunky chips. So if you haven't been in to try them, now is your chance... They are soon to be award winning (well, fingers crossed!).

Pretty average

Visited Garfunkel's for a pre-theatre meal at the weekend having never been before. The service was very slow and the tables were so closely crammed together it felt like you were sharing with other randomers! The drinks were really pricey and the beer was very flat and tasteless. Food was good... read more

I think Garfunkel's had some is the best pizzas I've had in the UK. The prices are reasonable, staff are friendly, food is quick but well cooked

Had the vegetarian breakfast with brown toast and a latte - all together pretty good - and a great location right next to the station entrance. For a traveller looking for something easy and reliable I think it works fine.

I cannot recall the last time I did not leave a tip, but today I did not due to the awful service & catalogue of mistakes at Garfunkle's Leicester Square. First I received the wrong drink, next my daughter received pasta with chicken despite ordering cheesy pasta as she is vegetarian. It then took a ridiculous time for her to... More

We were on a tour and only had a hour for lunch. This place was quick, efficient and good. Our waiter, Pedro was very professional and friendly. They also serve free refills on soft drinks. I am a Pepsi person and loved that. I am not sure this is the correct street address as there seem to be many Garfunkels... More

We went to Garfunkels because we were in a rush to get back to Heathrow via the Express train. Ordered the Fish and Chips, a glass of wine and the pancakes off of the dessert menu. The F&C were average but the pancakes were delicious! Not exceptional, but really good.

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
