Romantic cozy place out of the londoner crowd

The restaurant is in Little Venice, that is not one of the most visisted spots in London. Nevertheless the area on the canal is fascinating and has a certain atmoshphere of Amsterdam. This is one of the restaurants on the canal, and during the summertime its veranda is directly on the water (now, a... read more

Quality food (both meat and fish dishes) in a nice place on a river bank. On a warm spring day it should be much cuter, but even in a cold winter one a visit was very positive.

A wonderful brunch with great company! Service was welcoming and efficient. The blood Mary was excellent with the right amount of spice.

Lovely restaurant right on the banks of the Regent's Canal and a stones throw from Little Venice. Had an excellent meal here together with our daughter and son-in-law. The staff were courteous and helpful and service excellent. Even though cold and pouring with rain, the place was warm and cozy. Good choice of food and 'specials of the day' too.... More

Best evening meal this weekend. The setting is very quaint and would imagine better on summer evenings when you can appreciate the view. Food and service top quality. Would definately visit again

This is one of my favourite restaurants in London. The setting is divine. The tall chap who greets you seems like he may be the owner, just because you get that family owned feeling when you go there. I could be wrong, but it has a homely feel to it. I have eaten in this restaurant about 6 times now... More

Lovely setting and nice staff, but the food was poor. I don't often write bad reviews but you expect a fish restaurant to do haddock and chips well. The chips appeared to be frozen (unforgivable for the price) and, though it looked nice, the fish was tasteless. I grew up on fish and chips in Grimsby so know how it... More

Thanks you for your feedback - we are very glad you felt our dessert was great but are disappointed to hear your comments on our fish and chips. We have used the same recipe for over 5 years now and generally have very good feedback on the taste, size and price. However, we have taken your comments on board and... More

But I went for the healthier fish option which was delicious. The battered fish and chips looked delicious as well. We had a late lunch and eventually left about 4ish. The staff accommodated up and were very pleasant. It was a bit wet and windy when we went. I want to go back in the summer when the experience will... More

Crispy, non greasy but the dish was quite small for it's price. Good service, quick and pleasant. I would definitely go back for this fish and chips dish!
