We recently visited for my mum’s 60th birthday and we bought a voucher from Groupon. This was out first time to a burlesque show of any kind. No if you’re looking for great food, excellent service, and good entertainment, then I highly recommend it. If you’re looking for suited and booted staff, stiff upper lips, and modesty, then no –... Went there with my wife for a date. We are fans of burlesque and the climate of 20s. The first impression of the venue was positive, but then it was just worse. The waitresses are wearing cheap underwear and without any style. The host was very professional and funny. However the first show was matching the style of the waitresses.... More

This was arranged as a surprise by one of my daughters, all my friends were in on the 'secret'. On arrival we were shown to our table, the room was very atmospheric, really looked liked a 1920's cabaret bar. My daughter made sure we were provided with a bit of dress up, which was waiting for us on the table.... More

We went last night for my mum's hen night, absolutely amazing! Had the best night and have not laughed so much! The compare was hilarious and the acts sensational. The venue is classy and is a true reflection of the typical 1920s cabaret. The food was really tasty and service was excellent. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Would... More

Meal ok but some people didn't get food until others in party finished. Sides turned up at end of meal. Breads kept opposit ladies toilets. Extortionate drinks prices even fit London. (Gin, no mixer £10) Entertainment poor. Bill came up wrong, by £300!

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
