Description: An elegant City destination, Londons famed Proud Cabaret nightspot and restaurant is modelled on a 1920s speakeasy, exuding all the glamour of a decadent bygone era. Designed by Russell Sage Studios and Danielle Proud, the venue, located just moments from Fenchurch Street, is darkly impressive, not only in its setting but in its notoriously titillating and extravagant programme of entertainment. A constantly changing list of events ensures guests enjoy something new and exciting every visit, from the best music played by top DJs to beautiful burlesque performances, live jazz sounds and clever cabaret, all by well known and breaking acts. Special event parties, one off's and series alike, provides an extra surprise and, of course, whenever you visit youll be treated to not just captivating cocktails and mouthwatering moonshine but superbly executed British dishes enjoyed retro Hollywood supperclub style and an informal bar menu featuring lighter offerings. After dining the Proud Cabaret party continues long in to the evening.

Brilliant night at Proud City! Very attentive staff, drinks were not cheap but no more expensive than most bars in the city (although be aware of a large compulsory tip on the end of your bill!) great show. Lots of fun.

We booked Proud City for our daughter's 21st Birthday on Friday 22nd August for a party of 28 guests. Our daughter wanted to do something special but 'different' and this fitted the bill but I did have fears it would be tacky. After negotiating and agreeing prices with the booking team months in advance (who are based at Proud Camden... More

I went here on a Thursday night for a work night out. The venue is nice, overall vibe of the place is ok, our whole party found the place to be very very warm though which did make dining a hugely uncomfortable experience. Of everything on show, entertainment, venue, food etc. the food was certainly the highlight. I had a... More

The venue and setting of Proud Cabaret City is good and on entering we had high hopes for the evening. However the meal and the burlesque dancers were just ok. Don't get me wrong - for the £30 per head we paid for the groupon vouchers it was very good but had we paid the full price of £69 per... More

We went there on friday 22nd of august 2014. I didnt really know what to expect as it was my first burlesque show and as we were using a groupon deal. We had a really good evenning and I was surely not disapointed! The French Waitress Virginie was really nice and made us feel really comfortable. She was always there... More

I went to Proud Cabaret with my mum and girlfriend for my 31st birthday. I really enjoyed the show and the dancers were great. The food is ok but then again it is not about the food...Initially we planned to arrive at 7 but we ended up arriving at 8 (they were very understanding when we phoned them to tell... More

I visited proud Cabaret on a Saturday night and was looking forward to the evening with my wife and friends. Having booked through groupon at a reduced price, our offer included a 3 course meal(which we had to pre order 72 hours before), with a glass of prosecco, and of course a burlesque show. Arriving at the venue(only 2 mins... More

Amazing - from start to finish! The service was excellent, the food was amazing and the acts - well, there are no words. I laughed and was rendered speechless in equal proportion by the compere and the versatility and flamboyace of all the acts. The cocktails were lush and we were served by the extremely lovely and basqued Abbey. I... More

This was a Thursday night out after work with a friend. I felt glamorous and a bit special from the moment I entered the venue (which is a short walk from Monument or Tower Hill underground) You descend a staircase with the walls adorned by dozens of ornate mirrors, and you're transformed into another world of old-school opulence... My friend... More

Went here on a very impromptu visit for a friends birthday. We came in half an hour before the show started, and although they had no tables for us, they did find us room at the bar with a great view of the stage and we still received excellent service for a £10 entry fee each. Although we could not... More
