Good service despite being very busy

Ate at 2100 and the place was full to capacity, no problems though service was very quick, food was of a good standard and atmosphere although noisy was fine. Glad i used my tesco vouchers as you can soon run up a hefty bill, for a central london location this place is fine

We arrived early evening on a Saturday to grab a meal before catching the train. It's a fairly big restaurant so not as cosy as some Italian places but the service was friendly enough and the food was good. Efficient and quick and, although I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go back, if you're headed for Euston... More

Seems TripAdvisor don't recognise the Prezzo near Piccadilly. Absolutely great food, well served. The only slight worry is when you go to the toilets and realise that the food is carried straight from the kitchen, past the toilets, and then to your table. I must stress, great food - not even the faintest hint of piss on it.

Firstly we waited five minutes before anyone took any interest (the restaurant was not full). When we were choosing our meal the waiter bore a pained expression best summarised as pissed off parent waiting for a child to make up it's mind. Both patronising & intimidating. We chose the King Prawns with spaghetti and the house wine as they are... More

The service was excellent despite being quite busy. There was a short wait for a table but we had a drink while waiting. All the food we ordered was really tasty and of a high standard

Saturday night managed to get a table without a booking. We ordered penned Al salmone and the lobster parcel, with cheesy garlic bread. The smokeyness of the salmon was over powering and the pasta was far too Al dente for my liking, as was the two pieces of greeny-yellowy bits of broccoli. I must remember to ask for my pasta... We come here whenever we visit London. Very comfortable place to eat with good food, well-priced, and served with efficiency and courtesy.Very good location near to railway and underground stations. Definitely recommend it.

Service was poor - slow and indifferent, even though there seemed to be plenty of staff around. Admittedly it was late and they clearly wanted to close, offering us coffees before we'd finished the main, but then they did not follow up by collecting our payment promptly. No one asked if the food was ok, which it wasn't - my... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
