Had dinner at this pub while in London on a work trip, and I was a bit disappointed by the food. Certainly didn't strike me as a "gastropub".

My husband and I ordered the fish and chips.. My fish was hard and chewy, my husband's looked a little more edible. We sat by the window which offered a pleasant view of the street, and some apartments. To eat in the restaurant and not the car you go to the second floor and take note of your table number.... More

Simple bar with good staff. They do a good job even when its crazy busy. Same prices as everything else in the area. Neighborhood is nice.

During our London stay in Mayfair, my wife and I have visited this pretty English pub in Shepherd Market twice for dinner which probably indicates that we really enjoyed our meals. The food is very good. The service is efficient and very friendly. The furnishing and atmosphere in the upstairs dining room are very comfortable. I recommend the steak and... More

Busy and buzzing with a great atmosphere and good nibbles even though I would probably avoid a sit down meal.

We stumbled upon this pub and found a treat. The bartender/server was very nice and accomodating to my photos. The food was good and atmosphere was fun since we were watching the beginning matches of the World Cup. They were knowledgable about the beers and locals there were nice. Great fun on a Monday night.

Nice pub slightly away ( thankfully) from the madness of the main shepherds market area. Haven't eaten here but if you want a good pint and to chew the fat with your mates it's spot on.

This little tavern is so cute on the outside and was only 2 blocks from our hotel. It's a on a very cute street. I had this special and it was terrific, not to mention economical. Highly recommend for a basic pub meal at a value price.

A good choice for a nice quiet drink in good surroundings. Located just off Sheperds Market - a beautiful location tucked away in Mayfair. The staff are very attentive and friendly, there is a wide variety of beers to choose from & the food is also very nice. Well decorated, well maintained and well worth a visit!

One can visit London and sometimes see only very populated and busy streets. If the visitor takes the time he/she can find small village-like streets and neighborhoods. I took the tube to Green Park Station. At the exit, I turned down the very busy Picadilly St. in search of White Horse Lane. Becoming frustrated in my search, I asked a... More
