Description: Renowned throughout London and beyond, Petrus is one of the biggest names on the restaurant scene. With the world-renowned Gordon Ramsay behind the scheme to raise Petrus - now located on Knightsbridge's Kinnerton Street - from the ashes, the restaurant exudes the famous Ramsay sense of luxury combined with down-to-earth charm. Decorated in subtle tones of champagne, oyster and copper along with the claret red which inspired the restaurant's name, Petrus's beguiling interior is superbly decadent and romantic and actually quite intimate. In the kitchen, Head Chef Sean Burbidge is creating its trademark modern French menu. At Petrus the highest-quality ingredients go into dishes that combine delicious familiar flavours with unique presentation. Expect waves of divine amuse-bouches and a stupendous wine list, including a long list of vintages of Petrus to make it all perfect.

I went to Petrus for a Saturday lunch with five friends we had a nice time. But it was very expensive for what you got, four of us had the pork belly for main course it was no bigger than 2" by 2" and less than an inch thick really not on. Also I had two bottles of beer knock... More

We went to Petrus while on holidays in London for my friends birthday. With restaurants like this there is always the risk that expectations might be too high, but I am pleased to say that the meal surpassed all our expectations. We didnt order off the set menu as the choices were a bit limited and went a la carte,... More

Hubby booked as a surprise and what a nice surprise! :) Lovely decoration and lighting. The waiters were great, impeccable service. Food was lovely, we went for the tasting menu. I have to say that the food was not the strong point but the waiters. Great night.

I've been a bit tardy leaving this review but thought I would all the same. We dined as a family with our young teenagers and we all thought that the standard of the food was what we expected. The service was excellent and we were given a quick tour of the kitchen after the meal which my daughter loved.

We visited Petrus for lunch, a group of ex-colleagues, all now retired, that get together occasionally. We are not in a position to be extravagant so chose from the set lunch menu, everything was perfect, we were made to feel very comfortable and welcome, the service was immaculate even though we were not going to be 'big spenders'. The food... More

We visited Petrus to celebrate our anniversary on Thursday 21st August and we shall be returning when next in the area. The experience was simply amazing, if you are willing to spend I couldn't recommend a better restaurant. The service was absolutely on point, the food was utter perfection, the wine (Bibi Graetz Suffocone, Tuscan) was a true delight and... More

I booked this restaurant for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. The service and food were amazing. We went for the 3 course meal as we did't like the fish dishes on the tasting menu. Portion sizes look as small as you would expect from this type of restaurant but we were so full by the end of the meal. Not only... More

The service here is fantastic and the food high quality. However the portions from the a la carte menu were the same size as the tasting menu. I jokingly questioned this and was patronised in the sweetest way possible by our lovely waitress who explained it was French style portions. She must have been thinking Vichy France and rationing -... More

We booked the set place lunch option. They were kind enough to make a small dish for the kids. There was a bit of choice on the menu and the service and taste was exquisite
