Description: Renowned throughout London and beyond, Petrus is one of the biggest names...
Renowned throughout London and beyond, Petrus is one of the biggest names on the restaurant scene. With the world-renowned Gordon Ramsay behind the scheme to raise Petrus - now located on Knightsbridge's Kinnerton Street - from the ashes, the restaurant exudes the famous Ramsay sense of luxury combined with down-to-earth charm. Decorated in subtle tones of champagne, oyster and copper along with the claret red which inspired the restaurant's name, Petrus's beguiling interior is superbly decadent and romantic and actually quite intimate. In the kitchen, Head Chef Sean Burbidge is creating its trademark modern French menu. At Petrus the highest-quality ingredients go into dishes that combine delicious familiar flavours with unique presentation. Expect waves of divine amuse-bouches and a stupendous wine list, including a long list of vintages of Petrus to make it all perfect.

Elegant meal

Our family of 4 (children are 13 and 16) had dinner here while we were on vacation in London. It was a wonderful meal!! The restaurant is not too big and very elegant. The service was sublime! I don't want to spoil the rest of the meal and culinary surprises in store at Petrus (there are many) but it's safe to say that everything from the service to the decor is first class. In addition, nothing impresses me more than a good cheese selection with a range of top quality cheeses. The atmosphere is relaxed and non-intrusive... More

My wife and I went to Petrus for our wedding anniversary dinner. The dining room was very nice, comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere. The service throughout was flawless. Very knowledgeable, unpretentious and friendly. We both had the tasting menu with the "classic" wine pairing. The food was excellent, Norfolk quail with pancetta was delicious if possibly a bit sweet as... More

We celebrated our wedding day - and what a place. Looking great inside, with an impressing wine ladder/glas room inside the resturant. This 1 star Michelin resturant had employed waiters who took good care of us all the time. We had a 3 course meal, and the food was very tasty and delightly presented. To be a Gordon Ramsey Michelin... More

A very intimate setting in the restaurant, ordered the a la carte menu. Food was absolutely delicious, crab starter, lobster main course and the chocolate dessert is what I ordered. Very friendly staff and extremely professional. Overall great experience and surely would recommend to everyone.

Visited Petrus last Thursday for my boyfriend's birthday. We had the three course set menu for £75, which included a selection of amuse-bouches (mushrooms on toast, sesame prawn toast, potato and leek soup, lemon meringue) as well as wholegrain bread with onion butter (they also asked if we wanted more which was nice). For our starters, we chose the quail... More

Came here last weekend for a birthday meal with my girlfriend. We chose the 3 meals for £75 per person and were certainly not disappointed. Along side the three meal you are also give little amuse-bouches throughout the meal. The food was spectacular could not fault it at all, the service was also first class the staff were attentive but... More

The Beef Welling is know as one of his signature dishes and it didn't let me down. It was brilliant. The rest of the food order was perfect as well. Can wait to return.

This is our second visit to Petrus and second Chef's table experience. After such an incredible first time I decided to make this the venue to propose to my girlfriend. Everything you watch and know about Gordon Ramsay is exuded. Phenomenal food from Head Chef Neil and his team along with incredible warm informative service from Claudia and Roberto who... More

This was our first visit to Petrus and it didn't disappoint. My husband and I both opted for the chef's tasting menu and accompanying classic wine pairing. From the first morsel to the last the food was sublime. My particular highlight was the scallop with egg sabayon and my husband's was the Herdwick lamb. The wine selection enhanced the complex... Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
