Renowned throughout London and beyond, Petrus is one of the biggest names on the restaurant scene. With the world-renowned Gordon Ramsay behind the scheme to raise Petrus - now located on Knightsbridge's Kinnerton Street - from the ashes, the restaurant exudes the famous Ramsay sense of luxury combined with down-to-earth charm. Decorated in subtle tones of champagne, oyster and copper along with the claret red which inspired the restaurant's name, Petrus's beguiling interior is superbly decadent and romantic and actually quite intimate. In the kitchen, Head Chef Sean Burbidge is creating its trademark modern French menu. At Petrus the highest-quality ingredients go into dishes that combine delicious familiar flavours with unique presentation. Expect waves of divine amuse-bouches and a stupendous wine list, including a long list of vintages of Petrus to make it all perfect.

Booked the Chefs Table downstairs in the kitchen for 6 people. (It could fit 8, but would be a bit snug) Had the tasting menu - superb every course. We were well looked after by our Waiter and also the Sommelier. Head Chef came to talk to us a few times and is a throughly decent chap. The staff wash... More

I chose Petrus as a back up reservation when I could not obtain a reservation for a party of 5 for a business dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. Even one of my colleagues that is a vegetarian raved about the food and the wine list was quite good too. Highly recommended!

Visited for my partners birthday, had a lovely time. We went for the a la carte menu and still got all the extra little treats that were listed on the tasting menu so we're happy but very full! Good service, if I had one fault it would be at times it felt rushed as barely no time between courses. That... More

Visited here for Valentine's so had the gorgeous 10 set course menu. Food was amazing, and by far one of the best restaurants I have visited. The only thing I could say is the service was a bit too much and was not left alone for longer than five minutes (great they was so attentive but a bit too much... More

We knew the restaurant was supposed to be special. We just didn't understand how special until we got there. When we got there, we decided not to be seated until our full party arrived. Our coats were taken, we were offered drinks and fresh popcorn (which surprised me). The service was spectacular. All of the meals arrived and were served... More

We had the Valentine's menu together with the Prestige wine which was absolutely superb! The service was excellent. Quite pricey but worth it. I visit this restaurant at least once a year and would definitely recommend visiting.

We went to Petrus last year as a couple and had such an amazing meal we booked the Chef's table immediately, a year in advance. Petrus was number 3 then and we were worried that something had happened. Well it was amazing. We booked for 6 but you can have 8. We started upstairs with a glass of champagne and... More

Fantastic food, exceptional service and a great environment with atmosphere. I would definitely recommend the tasting menu with one of the paired wine lists. Superb!

Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
