Description: Renowned throughout London and beyond, Petrus is one of the biggest names on the restaurant scene. With the world-renowned Gordon Ramsay behind the scheme to raise Petrus - now located on Knightsbridge's Kinnerton Street - from the ashes, the restaurant exudes the famous Ramsay sense of luxury combined with down-to-earth charm. Decorated in subtle tones of champagne, oyster and copper along with the claret red which inspired the restaurant's name, Petrus's beguiling interior is superbly decadent and romantic and actually quite intimate. In the kitchen, Head Chef Sean Burbidge is creating its trademark modern French menu. At Petrus the highest-quality ingredients go into dishes that combine delicious familiar flavours with unique presentation. Expect waves of divine amuse-bouches and a stupendous wine list, including a long list of vintages of Petrus to make it all perfect.

I took some friends for a birthday treat to enjoy the Petrus Kitchen Table. The service was exemplary and we asked the sommelier to choose our wines in line with the food that was coming. With each course we had the most fantastic wine and it was accompanied with an explanation of why it was chosen and what tastes to... More

We had a nice business lunch at this restaurant. They actually succeeded all our expectations. The service was perfect, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was very up to date. You may have higher expectations when it comes to the wine list, due to the name of the restaurant, but th wine list is ok for a nice lunch.... More

Our 2nd visit here but definately not the last!! I can honestly say I have never tasted food with such deep multi-layered flavours and textures as those experienced at Petrus. Admittedly this is the only michelin starred restaurant I have eaten in, but without a doubt food here is completely on another level. Before my first visit I would have... More

Husband and I were both very impressed with lunch at Petrus. Hubby chose from the more limited 3 course lunch at £37.50 which was really good value while I selected from the a la carte lunch menu at £75 but with much more choice. Starters were a beautifully presented beetroot and goats curd dish and a crab dish with dashi... More

After a superlative meal last year, I was sorry to see that things are not quite as good here. The staff were very pleasant and charming but as the service became busier it was hard to attract their attention. We waited a long time for the bill The starters were beautiful but the mains lacked much excitement. For some reason... More

This was a great experience. There were mainly couples eating in when we went there last week. we had the tasting menu which was really varied and interesting. Recently had lunch on a Friday around 2pm so it wasn't particularly busy. We found the booking side of things and reception very helpful as we had to change dates a couple of times. While the food is great (had the set menu) the wines are slightly over priced. The interior feels slightly like a plush airport lounge. More suited... More
