Renowned throughout London and beyond, Petrus is one of the biggest names on the restaurant scene. With the world-renowned Gordon Ramsay behind the scheme to raise Petrus - now located on Knightsbridge's Kinnerton Street - from the ashes, the restaurant exudes the famous Ramsay sense of luxury combined with down-to-earth charm. Decorated in subtle tones of champagne, oyster and copper along with the claret red which inspired the restaurant's name, Petrus's beguiling interior is superbly decadent and romantic and actually quite intimate. In the kitchen, Head Chef Sean Burbidge is creating its trademark modern French menu. At Petrus the highest-quality ingredients go into dishes that combine delicious familiar flavours with unique presentation. Expect waves of divine amuse-bouches and a stupendous wine list, including a long list of vintages of Petrus to make it all perfect.

Superb Food, Service a bit sniffy

My stepmother and I visited Petrus in December 2015 - she had flown over from California to meet with family in the UK after we were both recently doubly bereaved. Have you ever booked a table understanding that you will be for yourself, and you did the booking the same day as I was going to visit the restaurant, trying to cancel the reservation understanding that it would have cost you 100 Pound! to cancel the reservation. Don’t do it and I do believe this is too heavy rules for... More

I've eaten at this restaurant a number of times and I am delighted to say that food and the service is top draw. I'm a sucker for tasting menus and often try them. I would say that the food, service and value for money is spot on and I didn't feel like the restaurant was taking me for a ride... More

Amazing food and a wonderful relaxing ambience.... loved every minute of the experience and would definiety reccomend it to friends visiting london. The onlt negative comment i could make is that the staff did not seem to give us as much attention as other patrons in the restaurant....We used the lunch voucher available for purchase on the gordonramsay website in... I booked a lunch here for my partner’s 30th birthday and it was delicious. We were immediately seated near the window which was nice, and didn’t feel too close to others and was very comfortable. All of the staff we came across (quite a few all doing different things!) were so attentive and friendly and not intrusive. I felt very... More

Decor, table settings and cleanliness remain very good. Staff well presented and helpful with lots of them milling around. However, service was slow and if you are dining at this restaurant before going to the theatre it may not be a bad idea to say you have somewhere to be at a certain time. If you are dining here at... Had a wonderful time at Petrus. We went for the a la carte to cater for our own tastes and thoroughly enjoyed it. The beef tartare was particularly good as was the venison, probably the best I've ever tasted. Lovely touches with some little treats in between courses. Extensive wine list but most wines on the pricey side. 3 course... More

The last of Ramseys restaurants with a Michalin star for us to visit. We were not disappointed. The food was lovely, not as delicate as its sister restaurants but lovely none the less. A nice birthday treat from my son.

I took my girlfriend here for a (belated) Xmas present and I am so glad that I did. Having never eaten in a high end restaurant such as this, I was bowled over by everything. The food was exquisite, the wine superb and the staff were absolutely brilliant. We chose the tasting menu with the classic wine pairing and it... More
