Description: Renowned throughout London and beyond, Petrus is one of the biggest names...
Renowned throughout London and beyond, Petrus is one of the biggest names on the restaurant scene. With the world-renowned Gordon Ramsay behind the scheme to raise Petrus - now located on Knightsbridge's Kinnerton Street - from the ashes, the restaurant exudes the famous Ramsay sense of luxury combined with down-to-earth charm. Decorated in subtle tones of champagne, oyster and copper along with the claret red which inspired the restaurant's name, Petrus's beguiling interior is superbly decadent and romantic and actually quite intimate. In the kitchen, Head Chef Sean Burbidge is creating its trademark modern French menu. At Petrus the highest-quality ingredients go into dishes that combine delicious familiar flavours with unique presentation. Expect waves of divine amuse-bouches and a stupendous wine list, including a long list of vintages of Petrus to make it all perfect.

There is little more to be said that hasn't been said in other reviews. Food and service exceptional. All the usual touches one would expect of a Michelin starred restaurant. We elected to go for the set lunch menu which was more than adequate and we enjoyed lingering over our coffee at the end - we were put under no... More

Me and my husband were staying in London for the weekend on business purposes. We decided to give this restaurant a go, booked the table in advance. We had a table at 9.30 as booked only a week in advance. Got there a bit early, we're greeted and sat down, and they got our table ready within minutes. We went... More

Came here with colleagues and an important customer just before Christmas. We decided on the tasting menu with accompanying wine. It was superb. Service was excellent but not stuffy, the food and wine pairings were, as one would hope, excellent with enough to make one us all challenge conventional choices going forward! Value wise, I think it was pretty good.... More

The ultimate evidence of the quality of any management team is what they do in a crisis. We had one when we received a call to advise the Chefs table MAY not be available to us with just 3 days to go to the evening we had booked. We listened to the alternative proposals and I have to say that... More

I'm a huge Gordon Ramsey fan and just had to try out one of his restaurants before leaving London. This one had good reviews and the menu prices didn't look bad. I wasn't disappointed at all, it was everything I expected it to be. I chose the £75 meal with the scallop as a starter. It was cooked to perfection!... More

Just came back from London . We had a exhibition and during the night we decide to have a dinner at Petrus of Gordon Ramsey . Monday night is not to busy and we had all the service we could wish . The lobster starter is super and the main dish was also delicious. Between the plates we had been... More

I went to Petrus with some business colleagues. I arrived early and was immediately made at home. I was given some savouries and a drink and felt relaxed immediately. The food was exceptional and the service attentive and knowledgeable particularly the wine waiter

Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
