A lovely find

Popped in here by chance, and what a pleasant surprise. Cosy place with an impressive menu and good wine list. Food was lovely and really good value. The linguine marinara was particularly nice - very fresh and tasty. Will definitely be coming back

This friendly family-run restaurant in Paddington street is everything a Italian restaurant should be. Friendly service, good ingredients cooked with care. I had something from Specials Menu - Calves Liver Venetian style and it was excellent and cooked to perfection. Lovely glass of house red and a very convivial evening.

Called in on an off chance and was treated to a very good meal, served quickly by attentive staff in this bustling yet friendly restaurant. Competing with an Italian chain across the road can't be easy, but they seem to be doing a good job and I only saw one empty table during my visit. The specials sounded very good,... More

If you are looking for a local place, with friendly staff, drop by here. Food was good and a cozy break from the chain Italian places all over town.

Just around the corner from Baker Street tube and Madame Tussaud's I was taken to this small Italian restaurant for lunch. It is very good! Service really friendly, the food well-cooked (a traditional Italian menu) and a a refreshing bottle of Gavi - a winning combination in my book.

We chanced on this restaurant whilst out looking for dinner. We hadn't booked and were very lucky to get a table, as it was packed - and packed with regular clientèle who obviously knew the staff and owners well. The food was excellent and the prices very reasonable. The only thing I would fault was the sense that they were... More

This is my local and I absolutely love it here. Having been so often I've become friends with the owner and we always get a warm welcome. It's proper italian food run by Italians and recommend all their food. For two people, starter main and dessert is £60 They don't charge service charge, so you can choose to tip if... More

I have been frequenting Casa Becci's for many years now, and I guess that I think of it as my local caff! This is a compliment...I always feel at home there, and Josefina, who used to oversee the restaurant, a job now fallen to her son, was the force behind this homeliness. We knew a lot about her and her... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
