Nice local Italian place.

We had an early evening dinner here and the food was fresh and very tasty. There were a number of specials as well as pasta, fish and meat dishes..a nice varied menu.It is a small, old style place with good friendly staff. The prices are decent for the area.

Just around the corner from Baker Street tube and Madame Tussaud's I was taken to this small Italian restaurant for lunch. It is very good! Service really friendly, the food well-cooked (a traditional Italian menu) and a a refreshing bottle of Gavi - a winning combination in my book.

We chanced on this restaurant whilst out looking for dinner. We hadn't booked and were very lucky to get a table, as it was packed - and packed with regular clientèle who obviously knew the staff and owners well. The food was excellent and the prices very reasonable. The only thing I would fault was the sense that they were... More

This is my local and I absolutely love it here. Having been so often I've become friends with the owner and we always get a warm welcome. It's proper italian food run by Italians and recommend all their food. For two people, starter main and dessert is £60 They don't charge service charge, so you can choose to tip if... More

this is a super little family run Italian restaurant. Excellent food and great friendly service. Really enjoyable every time - good to book though or you may not get in!

I have been frequenting Casa Becci's for many years now, and I guess that I think of it as my local caff! This is a compliment...I always feel at home there, and Josefina, who used to oversee the restaurant, a job now fallen to her son, was the force behind this homeliness. We knew a lot about her and her... More

Was in the Baker Street area and found this restaurant. It is small and comfortable inside and we were given a warm welcome. The menu is quiet extensive and there is a good choice of specials. I had the goats cheese and then the Gambas risotto, both of which were quite good. What I feel lets the restaurant down is... More

Fish was fantastic, perfectly cooked with a smooth lemon sauce; not over cooked like most Italian restaurants. Chicken cutlet was equally delicious! Small quiet family vibe and GREAT tomato sauce of homemade quality. Lemon almond polenta cake special for dessert was just right! Full lemon flavour and not too sweet. Will be back soon! ~Canadian living in London

Small restaurant offering reasonable food that is not over priced. However the attitude of the staff is very poor and because of this I won't be returning. You need to learn basic customer service skills, you are not running a soup kitchen, you are serving paying members of the public.

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
