Lunch with the hubby!

The member of staff who served us was very friendly, the restaurant was bright and airy which I like. I hadn't a clue what to order as I've only ever been to a wagamama once before. I ended up with a soup like dish which was ok and the hubby had a chicken dish with rice which was really nice.... read more

Good allergy information (separate menu is available with all ingredients). Nice staff, even though we felt a little as if we were rushed away. The plates were taken away only seconds after we had put our spoons down. This happened even though restaurant wasn't full.

Very good service on a Saturday night. Food was excellent especially the Wagamama Ramen and there was a good choice of beers. Pricing very reasonable. Ambience was good; not too noisy so easy to chat. Well lit inside.

This is a fantastic place for Asian-inspired food and if you're looking for a late-evening meal. My boyfriend and I watched a show at the Globe and the Wagamama was the only place we still found serving food at almost 11pm (even though they did close the kitchen shortly after we placed our order). The food and service was great... More

As always you know what food to expect when you come to Wagamama but you expect to at least have a friendly service. We were served by about 5 different people and none of them smiled! I'm all for good food and fast service and I know they don't put service charge on your bill but at least smile as... More

i have always been trying to have a quick noodle dish in Wagamama in the past visits, but never got around to doing it; so on this London trip with my family, we all went there for a quick dinner after a long day of outing. the first thing i noticed was the interior design, it is definitely London chick... We planned to have lunch at Wagamama's during our visit to London and found this one by chance, walking along the south bank of the Thames. The restaurant is located in beautiful rooms with high, vaulted ceilings, furnished in typical Wagamama style. The menu is the same classic as everywhere and our lunch (edamame and tori kara age - crispy... More

I came to Wagamama's before and always enjoy their food. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. My friend and I ordered different dishes, and unfortunately this visit we both left with an unsettling stomach. It hasn't ever happened before, maybe it was because the restaurant was busy and food weren't heated up properly. I will still go to Wagamama's... More

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
