Great Place For Sunday Lunch

La Famiglia never disappoints. The service is typically Italian and the food is excellent. I usually go for the Tuna and its always cooked to perfection. Its pricey but worth it and as an added bonus is always good for people watching.

Just been bere for dinner with my boyfriend. The restaurant was full and very busy for a Saturday night dinner at 8,45pm! The service was perfect and very attentive from the beginning to the end of our meal, food is pretty good and prices are reasonable. Staff is very nice and polite. What else?We will definitely come back, hopefully we... More

Had dinner at La Famiglia recently. We like the food there, extensive menu and wine list. However we were six, seated very tight on a table for four... Were treated roughly by the pretending sommelier...However the food was very good,

We are staying at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel what an Amazing place. We have heard of the restaurant La Famillia and wanted to try but we wish we had gone to the hotel to eat as what we experienced was so bad. To be fair the starter was average but the main meal was the worst food both my wife... More

If you want a really reliable Italian restaurant then you'd be hard put to it to find somewhere better than La Famiglia in Chelsea. The restaurant which is bright with the usual tile flooring ( a covered garden being available for use in the warmer months) has been here for many years and whilst the menu has to a certain... I have actually been to this restaurant three times, and each time resolved not to return. Firstly, the restaurant is unbelievably hot. To say that I'm normally a cold person is an understatement. It's not unusual for me to wear three sweaters and fleece on top around my house in the winter. All three times I have been there I... More

We've eaten here a number of times, both for lunch and for dinner and have never been disappointed. Very good and friendly service. There are a variety of areas to sit in, we like to sit in one of the two front rooms but many prefer the back - particularly if they are famous and don't want to be spotted!... More

This is seriously the most unbelievable review I have ever has to write. We made a 7 PM reservation for three including my 5 year old son. As soon as we arrived they looked at us like we had three heads because we had a kid with us. They sat us in the furthest table in the back of the... More

I took my wife, daughter and grandson to this wonderful family restaurant for an extended Sunday lunch on my wife's birthday. I have never seen my grandson eat his pasta so fast! He lapped it up before we had finished our starters and said it was really yummy. We had a mix of salad starters, all tastefully prepared, followed by... More

We have season tickets at Stamford Bridge to see Chelsea play and this restaurant is very convenient for before or after the game. The menu is varied, all the ingredients fresh and the seasonal offerings are first class. The staff are great fun and you always come away smiling. This restaurant is frequented by all the locals and is always... More

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
