My boyfriend and I went here for a pre theatre meal. We didn't book and managed to get in but the place did get very busy about 30 minutes after our arrival. They have a huge vegetarian menu but we both went for a Thali (where you get a selection of small dishes). Both of these were £15.95 each, which... More

Visited late evening with family and friends. I'm not vegetarian and only one of us in the group was, however we all enjoyed the meal. Staff were friendly and prices not too bad, but portion size was rather small, we all thought.

We stopped in here for lunch as a second choice. The restaurant we wanted to eat at didn't have the menu we thought so we looked around quickly and thought we'd give this place a try. We're so glad we did. The food was delicious and well priced for Central London. It's in theatre district, so a great spot for... More

I only eat in vegetarian or kosher restaurants so having a taste of India was a treat. I loved the main dishes I ordered as well as the bread. Service was good and the place was clean and comfy. Will return!

There is a reason why their lunch time specials are only 3.75; they are awful! The curries are full of oil and overly spices. The yoghurt contains no raita and the bread (roti) is non existent. The food was stale and definitely not fresh. Do yourselves a favour - strictly avoid and find a salad bar. It may cost 1... More

Perfect place for a lunch with work colleagues. We had a wonderful meal with fantastic food. The service was exceptional, not just fast but also attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We visited Sagar on 2nd August for an early pre-theatre bite to eat. The menu was a delight for me as a vegetarian spice lover but there was also a lot of choices for my meat eating husband with a palette for milder dishes. We ordered a chickpea and a curry dish with different breads and rice. All the food... More

Excellent location close to all the theatres but I found the curries in the thali to be quite watery. Three of our party had thalis, the other non-thali dishes seemed to be better.

We have been to one of the other London Restaurants of the same name but we decided to try this one. The service was very good and the food also tasty and the portion size good. Overall a very enjoyable visit and for the price considering the location quite good value. The inside of the restaurant is quite basic but... More

This restaurant was recommended to me by a customer with a food allergy. She informed me that Sagar have a Vegetarian, Gluten free & Nut free menu. This sounded perfect for my wife who has a severe nut allergy, and whenever we eat anywhere new its difficult to know what dishes to try out and therefore she just sticks to... More
