Really really pleased I found this restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious meal celebrating my son's 21st birthday yesterday. Tasty idlis and scrumptious dosas. I will be recommending Sagar's to friends.

One of my favourite london haunts, if fact one of the few reasons i would mov back to london. For those of you not familiar with indian vegitiarian food , ( like myself before i started coming here), its not your normal indian/bangladeshi food but with out the meat , all the dishes are complete in their own right. whilst... The restaurant has a homely, informal ambience and has separate vegetarian and vegan menus. The staff were freindly and helpful and the service was quick - a little too quick at times as our starters arrived before we were half-way through eating our poppadoms! The menu is South Indian and it was pleasing to see a varied choice of vegan... More

A friend and I were looking for vegetarian places and something cheap and easy. This place is somewhere I have always wanted to try and so this was a great opportunity to finally visit. Walking into the restaurant, the staff were very attentive and friendly and showed us to the table. The waiter was very friendly and helpful and gave... More

We normally go to the same place we've been to for years to eat if we're going to a West End show in the afternoon/evening but decided to try something a little different this time. We have a little experience with Indian food but are In no way experts. We had seen several reviews saying how good this place was... More

My wife and I have been here two years running, after a show at the ROH. My partner is vegan, and it's great to have somewhere in the tourist trap of Covent Garden that offers a vegan menu. We've had Thalis both times, for the variety it provides. The curries were of excellent quality, the and the breads too. The... More

Enjoyed a great meal here, on a rainy Boxing Day. (Was happy to find them open as many places closed on Boxing Day.) We enjoyed Pappadam which was served with excellent chutneys and a spicy sauce and Aloo Papadi Chat for starters. Main course was saag paneer and super yummy garlic rice. They have a nice selection of dosa and... More

This is a smallish place, and in the heart of theatreland, so it's probably advisable to book. Unlike some other Indian restaurants, it's open all day, so you can be flexible about when you go in. It's true that the tables are a little close together, but this didn't spoil the experience. The service is fine, the staff were not... More

Wide menu. Also serves alcoholic drinks. Ideally placed near the theatre land. Only reservations are: tables are too small and near each other.
