Description: Le Pont de la Tour is London’s ultimate destination for fine French dining with breathtaking views. Located by Tower Bridge with dramatic panoramas across the City, the glamorous setting is matched by executive head chef Tom Cook’s exquisite French cooking. In fine weather you can dine on our famous riverside terraces enjoying restaurant favourites including Dover sole and the celebrated seafood platter, alongside modern dishes such as ravioli of langoustine and Valrhona chocolate mousse. The adjoining Bar & Grill offers a sophisticated take on a Parisian brasserie, with a buzzing atmosphere and bistro-inspired food to match. An impressive wine list of Old and New World wines, overseen by Le Pont de la Tour's award-winning head sommelier Nicolas Clerc completes the experience. Whether it’s a luxurious three-course dinner, a relaxed lunch on the terrace or a cocktail in the Bar & Grill, dining at Le Pont de la Tour is unforgettable.

This part of London has been transformed over the last few years and is buzzing with restaurants around the converted wharfs and warehouses. Le Pont De La Tour overlooks London's Tower Bridge and the setting is great - have an outside table with a view. Mediocre food - dressed crab was good GBP 14.50 as a starter, Seabream was not... The atmosphere was nice and the setting next to the Thames (with a view of Tower Bridge) was most excellent. Let down by overpriced food which wasn't that much better then your local takeaway service. Had ordered a burger which arrived promptly but cold. Onions rings were thin, and crispy but tastly and looks like they were being cheap with... More

Wonderful ambience on the terrace at lunch time. Superb service, sublime food and an excellently chilled white wine. Weather was perfect and there was generally a lovely atmosphere. We didn't want to leave. We had only intended to have a quicky light lunch!

If you like alfresco dining with an amazing view then this is the place for you. The food is top French cuisine and the staff are very attentive and helpful. Some reviews say the place is too pretenious but I disagree, it is lovely for a treat if (like me) you don't often go to fine dining restaurants. I tried... More

We used to visit Le Pont de la Tour on a regular basis so this return booking was eagerly awaited. We actually booked an Evening Standard promotion £30 for a 3 course meal with a glass of champagne. There was a choice of 4 starters, 4 mains and deserts. The food was excellent in presentation quality and taste. The staff... More

Very pretentious waiter, as on a meal deal pretty rude and dismissive. Food ok but overpriced wine also expensive

I have been a regular at the "Pont" for over 10 years, as I live in a flat 7 floors above. I have never written a review on it before. I decided to take my wife on our 6th aniversary (her choice - also because we have a 2 1/2 year old and the baby sitter could not stay all... More

Lunch at this restaurant was particularly memorable for its excellent menu, well thought out wine list, ambience and position. Luckily the weather was good, but I think this restaurant doesn't need luck when they have such skill. The service was impeccable, knowledgeable and well-timed. My foie gras, sea trout and the eclectic selection of cheeses was amazing. Truly up tere... More

Maybe it was because we picked an evening which only comes along here every 10 years but we loved it. We arrived early at about 6:45 and were lucky enough to get a table on the terrace. The service was very good although like others we do not like our wine to be kept away from the table. The food... More

we booked on the evening standard £30 fixe inc a coup de champagne. They accomodated our last minute request to sit on the terrace even though it was a friday evening and the weather fine. champagne was peiper heidseck (apols if spelt wrong). Food was delicious: cheese fougere amuse bouche; sole mouselline with lobster bisque; pork with summer veg; raspberry... More
