Description: The third restaurant to be opened by acclaimed chef brothers Chris and Jeff Galvin, La Chapelle has been consistently praised, winning no less than 8 top restaurant awards in its first year, including AA London Restaurant of the Year, and Tatler magazine's Restaurant of the Year. Chef Patron, Jeff Galvin, provides a menu of modern French cuisine, gaining a Michelin star in the 2011 Red Guide, just a year after the restaurant opened. There is also a menu gourmand, prix fixe lunch, early dinner menu, and Sunday Roast lunch menu. The service, under the direction of Alessandro Piombino and his team, effortlessly combines warm, friendly and attentive hospitality with a fine sense of tradition and decorum, in keeping with the grandeur of this Grade II-listed building. The restaurant is one of the few restaurants in London to hold a vertical list of Hermitage La Chapelle wines.

I spent a considerable time trying to decide where to go for my 60th birthday and I finally settled on Galvin la Chapelle. Looking at the menus, pictures and reviews it appeared to offer exactly what I was looking for. So, I went with my brother in law on 16th December and I have to say the restaurant was quite... More

We had debated hard over which restaurant in the Galvin empire to visit for a special meal and thankfully La Chapelle won the day. We were seated on the all seeing mezzanine where the rest of this impressive building is a glance away. We opted for the Menu Gourmand - 7 courses - for a not overly expensive £70 a... More

My colleagues and I visited this famous restaurant on the 10th December for our Christmas lunch. It has had some wonderful reviews and I cannot do otherwise than express my own personal satisfaction. I had the signature starter; lasagne of Dorset crab followed by the roast chateaubriand. Both were magnificent. The wine list was extensive and we had only a... More

Amazing work Christmas meal here. Lovely ambience and wonderful building, fantastic selection of foods, good portions, attentive staff and lovely experience overall. Not sure I would want to pay these prices myself though.

This restaurant is in a restored chapel and is visually stunning. Even apart from the quality of the food this is a must visit restaurant. This restaurant is just round the corner from my office and thus very convenient for business meetings. It has a Michelin star so expectations are quite high. We had the 7 course tasting menu with... I went there for my 1 year wedding anniversary and we were both delighted with the place. Firstly, the location is stunning, with a high ceiling, black beans and elegant setting. The service was very good. Secondly, the food was heaven. I will never forget the lemon sauce that accompanied my fish. Dessert a bit disappointing for the standard of... More

I have wanted to try this restaurant for a while, as I'm a fan of Galvin Windows. It didn't disappoint at all. All the food was great from the Prix Fix set menu, and I left full and satisfied. I started with the Ham and figs, all right not the most exciting choice, but it was lovely. My partner had... More

I came here with several colleagues from work for a lunch. Although it's very large (and impressive building) it doesn't feel impersonal and the service was good.
