Brilliant location in full view of Tower Bridge. Professionally attentive and informed service. High quality food and wine. Steaks excellent. As you would hope from the signature Argentinian fare. Didn't disappoint in any way. In fact we had a fantastic time. Caters to all ages and tastes. That... read more

This restaurant has the winning formula with a mouthwatering menu and second to none service. The Steak as you would expect was cooked to perfection graced by a side order of choice. The restaurant manager and waitress recommended a superb wine to compliment the meal. On a busy night they managed to give us the impression they were giving us... More

Being born in Brazil and having visited Argentina in several occasions makes me a bit fussy when it comes down to meat but this place was spotless! The restaurant has a great location and it made a really nice spot for a catch up with friends that work in the area. We all ordered different cuts and each single one... More

Ok let me start by saying that this isn't a negative review. It's just for the money you are going to spend in this place - just remember that what you are paying for the location, you are losing in other aspects. Came here for a friends birthday. Nothing major, just 4 friends getting together. First thing I noticed is... More

First impressions weren't great as the reception staff hadn't received my booking and it felt as though I was being questioned as to whether I'd made it. I showed them the confirmation via email and they begrudgingly pointed me in the right direction. Poor form considering I was about to spend £50 on a steak! Up in the actual restaurant... More

First time visited that piece of embankment between Tower Bridge and London Bridge and was really amazed. Great architecture, good restaurants and fantastic views of the Tower Bridge, Themse, HMS Belfast and everything else Quite good steaks, however my Churrasco was not really perfect, unfortunately. Service is good, place is almost full in the evenings, nice views and area to... More

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
