Having travelled in central Asia this was something of a surprise in London. The cuisine of Kyrgyzstan is not exactly famous in Europe but the reputation of each and every cafe and restaurant in that country revolves around Plov and Lagman. The cook came from Bishkek, the waiters from Tashkent, I had Plov, my niece and nephew had Lagman, the... More

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday after reading the amazing reviews about this restaurant. The place was TERRIBLE. The interior was deceiving from the pictures, and the location was a run down area. From the outside, the hotel/restaurant looked dirty, and when we walked through to the restaurant, it was COMPLETELY opposite to the pictures and reviews we... More

This was an interesting restaurant with lovely decor and good food at a reasonable price. Our only issue was the music which was far too loud and we couldn't hear each other speak. Service good and staff very obliging.

Central Asian cuisine. Particularly like the lamb chops with apple dish but all is delicious. Some of the main dishes are very filling so take it easy on the starters.

Had a great dinner with friends here recently - this is a nice place tucked behind the back of the Pasha hotel down some winding corridors. You walk into a little oasis with live singing and a pond complete with bridge (plus turtles!) The wine was reasonably cheap and decent quality. Also offered Russian beer which was novel. Staff really... More

At the back of a hotel on my bus route which never would have known about had I not seen a feature on Camberwell in Time Out. Couldnt believe how far the hotel goes back until you finally come to this surprise find of a restaurant. Food was okay, chicken shish didnt taste like chicken! but meat dumpling/pastry was good.... I Went to dinner at this restaurant based on Camberwell Road with five others on a Friday night, the restaurant atmosphere was relaxed and the decorative walls were adequately pleasant on the eye. I had the Sausage saute which was mildly spicy and enjoyable, followed by the Manty for my main course which is steam made dumplings filled with beef... More

The restaurant is located inside the Pasha hotel on Camberwell Road. The decor is lovely with a fish pond and bridge in the middle of the restaurant. We had the Turkish sausage and shepherd's salad for starters, followed by Plov (traditional rice and lamb dish) and the dumpling topped with beef and onion in broth. We both had dessert, Chak-chak...
