Very busy pub in the heart of very busy family area of London. Pub was full of couples with children and dogs... which created a good "homely" atmosphere.... Could not work out the management structure ..... but this also seemed to be very family orientated. We arrived at 12.45 having booked a table for 1pm which meant that the reservation... More

I got the worst good poisoning after eating a lamb burger there yesterday. The good is very overpriced and it was extremely loud inside with a group of 12 ladies sitting right behind us. Will definitely not be back.

Had lunch here on Sunday and the meal was OK but not great. Slightly pricey for what it is but then I come from the sticks. The best part was the desserts. The back room has a lot of glass which on a warm sunny day can get quite hot.

We took my nephew here for dinner on Sunday evening after reading that it was 'child friendly'. Overall the food was average - extremely overpriced for what it was and we left feeling like we'd been ripped off!! The most disappointing part was my nephew ordered a hot dog and chips from the children's menu- what arrived was a cheap... More

This is part of a small chain of South London gastropubs. It is situated at the southern end of Northcote Road, Battersea a district nicknamed 'Nappy Valley'. Thus it was not surprising that of those lunching this Wednesday afternoon there were a large number of mothers complete with prams, babies and young children. There is a good children's menu. The... On arrival on a busy Thursday evening we received a very warm and friendly welcome from staff, who were more than happy for us to change tables to a banquette one at the back, (when the first one was located in a throughfare) even though the restaurant was almost full. I had the main of 7 hours roast pressed lamb... More

If you want to go for a drink in the day this is a nice pub with good decor and a lovely feel. Though the seating area isn't really comfortable. But in the bar area it does have a nice feel to it. However if you want to go for food it is best too book as they are usually... More

We went as a large group for someone's birthday. As is the case people were arriving at different times and leaving at different times, so our end of the table thought we would have a tab for our end so we could easily settle the bill at the end. You'd have thought we asked for the moon on the stick.... More

This place looks good and is ok to stop by for a drink. Though, one pint and one cider was £10.20! Lots of yummy mummy's and babies even at 6pm on a Friday night. The restaurant part looked lovely. I wouldn't go out of my way, but lovely to stop in if you are in the area.

Was not impressed with the small portions which are no where near the price they don. Simply average food and screaming kids galore on the weekends when this place appears to be very busy. Service average too. Having said that, the Bloody Marys are simply fabulous. So tasty and full of horseradish - wonderful!
