Nice gastronomical pub

We just had dinner as a couple at the Bolingbroke. Behind the usual pub room is hiding a lovely restaurant room with white walls, covered by a glass roof which brings a very airy feeling to it, muted slightly by blind over the glass windows and cute tiny lights. The food was equally very good. We... read more

Ate here on a Friday night, were given a nice quiet corner. Staff were friendly and helpful and the pub was nice and clean. Menu was extensive but reasonable. Food arrived quickly and hot, and staff asked a couple of times whether every thing was ok, which it was. Would eat here again.

We always go in January when they have their 50% off food offer. Don't know wether it's good value full price. They usually have very good specials.

Really nice pub. We ate in the back room which is lovely. Service was good. Food lovely. Felt like a country pub in Clapham. Recommended.

I love this place, it's a great local gastro pub, with excellent food and a great atmosphere. I'd say it's a 4.5*. I've been here in several occasions, lunch, afternoon and dinner and it never failed to deliver. Cozy & friendly.

I ve been to this pub several timea as its our local. Food has been consistently excellent, really good quality and refreshed fairly regularly. Last weekend we had our leaving drinks there. We reserved an area with no deposit or anything and we stayed as long as we wished serviced to a great standard. The pub is kids friendly and... More

We visited here for Sunday lunch with friends. It is definitely more of a restaurant than a pub though. The food was really well executed, we had a couple of classic Sunday roast lunches but with the addition of 7 hour roast lamb (yum!). Pork belly and a special of a lamb burger. Service was speedy, we stayed hours so... More

Went for a Saturday lunch with a few friends and one baby. The restaurant looks lovely, fairy lights in the back room and an open fire. The atmosphere is great, lots of families with children and the waiters are very friendly and attentive. Tasty and varied menu!

Their food is great as far as the whole gastro pub vibe goes. However I would´ve expected a better selection of craft beers to choose from. Don´t get me wrong, I really like the place, and will definitely go back. I had a duck, beetroot, pomegranate salad which kind of tried to be something in between a starter and a... More
