Popped in for dinner

Two friends and I popped in for dinner on a Monday night when it was fairly quiet. We were seated and ordered pretty quickly. I had opted for the for the pasta dish which, when it came was a very small portion. It was nice but just didn't fill me up. My fiends both had beef which was lovely. The... read more

I booked a table at The Bolingbroke for myself, my parents & my 15month old son. The staff were fantastic with my son - a high chair was ready for him, plastic tumbler & crayons to keep him entertained. We all order food, and they made sure my sons came out with the appetisers. 2 of us had a roast,... More

Really nice cosy little pub hidden away down the quiet end of Northcote Road, lovely place to go with friends or family for some food and wine! I had the burger with added stilton and chorizo with a side of sweet potato fries and it was absolutely divine. Such great service and friendly staff, gorgeous pub and great atmosphere!

I live around the corner and just before Christmas I decided to go with friends for a pint. As soon as I got in, I was rudely greeted by an arrogant staff member who basically told me that there was no room for me and my friends. I couldn't believe how rude and unprofessional this person was, not friendly at... More

So much better when not full of s many children, good wine selection and good Sunday lunch. Bar snacks good and substantial if you get the beer munchies

A genuinely nice pub on Northcote Road. Allow in dogs. Good beers on draft albeit they have two on tap and could easily add a couple more to give real choice. Food good but variable. My friend had a fantastic squash risotto. I started with the Tortellini - 3 pasta looking somewhat meagre floating in a bowl of what looked... More

I met a friend for a quick catch up and a bite to eat. The pub is charming and quaint. The waiters were friendly and the service was good. The menu looked interesting and I was waiting to be impressed by the food. The food was presented well but it lacked flavour and texture.I have to say I was very... More

We came to the Bolingbroke for a Sunday lunch having been previously a couple of times and we weren't disappointed. The food was amazing, all of it - and the staff were fantastic. Can't wait to come back, simply perfect!
