Their food is great as far as the whole gastro pub vibe goes. However I would´ve expected a better selection of craft beers to choose from. Don´t get me wrong, I really like the place, and will definitely go back. I had a duck, beetroot, pomegranate salad which kind of tried to be something in between a starter and a... More

Booked a table with a friend on a Saturday night, I ordered the Lamb dish and my friend ordered the beef cheeks- both dishes were delicious. They had a great ranges of mains and desserts to choose from. Was a dog friendly pub, we had an annoying dog on the day we visited that wouldn't stop barking. Food arrived quickly... More

We booked a table for a pre Christmas family dinner for nine and both food and the the service were great. Pity that the restaurant closed at 11 pm rather earlier than we had finished our dinner!

I work near the Bolingbroke and my colleagues and I had been admiring the festive decorations and look of the place for a few weeks now. Having glanced at the prices we thought we would plan a Friday lunch there and treat ourselves. It's nearly Christmas after all! The staff ushered us to the back room and placed us right... More

Went to the Bolingbroke for lunch with 2 friends. Got shoved in a corner next to the drafty fire exit which was incredibly cramped. We asked to be moved to one of the many other empty tables but we was told that was a table of 4 and couldn't accommodate the 3 of us. Ridiculous. We asked a second time... More

Seven of us met up for dinner and chose the Bolingbroke as it was close to Clapham Junction. We sat in the front part with plenty of room. The service was very friendly and swift, the food was OK, the wine list had some interesting wines (Quickie Sauvignon and Passion has red lips Shiraz?!?). My wife was surprised that the... More

We ate here on a Saturday evening. We were at the back of the pub. The lights were really pretty. The waitress almost threw the food at us with a curt enjoy!. The food was mediocre at best and the service worse. There are better places to eat.

Myself and three girlfriends went here for dinner on a Friday night and were put in the rear of the restaurant which was nice to start with but when full became quite loud! The service was pretty good but could have been a bit more attentive as far as ordering drinks goes. The food I thought was really nice. Three... More

Very busy pub in the heart of very busy family area of London. Pub was full of couples with children and dogs... which created a good "homely" atmosphere.... Could not work out the management structure ..... but this also seemed to be very family orientated. We arrived at 12.45 having booked a table for 1pm which meant that the reservation... More
