Description: If you find yourself craving curry in North London, head for Gulshaan one of Kentish Towns most popular Indian restaurants. Situated right next to the tube station, its ideal for mid-week lunches and laid-back dinners before a gig at the Forum or a night out in Camden Town. The chefs use fresh herbs and spices and prepare each dish in the style of the region it originates from to guarantee an authentic flavour. The menu features familiar favourites like baltis, biryanis and seafood dishes like the spicy prawn madras. For something a little different, try Gulshaans signature dish Murgh Bade Saba, which is chicken cooked with green chillis, coriander, ginger, yoghurt and a unique blend of herbs and spices. You wont be disappointed!

The waiters were not polite, food came out cold and over charged us!! I would rather recommend the Bengal Lancer which is on the same street.

Ordered a delivery after reading the reviews. I must say this has been the worst Indian delivery I have ever gotten. Both the curries were too sweet, chicken was tough, the roti and naan we were like rubber. NEVER AGAIN!

Walked past here many times, decided to give it a go this evening. A little quiet when we first arrived, but service is attentive and friendly and food is very tasty and great value for money. Onion bhaji, veggie biryani and saag aloo were very tasty, and too much for me to eat so have a nice little takeaway container... More

3 of us dined at Gulshaan during a recent visit to London. The restaurant was conveniently located in Kentish Town, just a short walk from the apartment we were renting. We arrived around 8 p.m. and there was a party of 4 just finishing up their meal. After they departed we were the only diners in the restaurant. I had... More

£6.95 for a three course lunch. Excellent choice. I had onion bhajee, lamb biryani and kulfi. Good portions and superb cooking.

Had a great meal before attending a concert at The Forum here. Great location, straight across the road from Kentish Town underground station. Great choices on the menu. Food was well presented and great quality. Very good service and great value for money. Will return next time I'm in the area. Would recommend to all Indian food lovers.

I needed a quick meal in Kentish Town and admit to checking Tripadvisor to see what was available in Kentish Town Rd, near the station. Despite terrible weather, I did walk up and down a couple of times and look at alternatives, but picked the Gulshaan as it looked popular and inviting, whereas other places were really quiet. It proved... More

We started off with the usual poppadoms and relish tray. They were the best poppadoms I've ever had. They were not oily, just crispy and the accompanying relishes were fresh and zingy. So often, in my experience, dishes in Indian restaurants seem to resemble oily bowls of goop. Not so in the Gulshaan. For instance, in the Saag Aloo side... More

Well, Tripadvisor didn't let me down! Had 3 hours to kill in Kentish Town and needed a curry. Quick search and this restaurant popped up - unassuming from the outside but lovely food, very friendly and attentive staff - top place!
