I needed a quick meal in Kentish Town and admit to checking Tripadvisor to see what was available in Kentish Town Rd, near the station. Despite terrible weather, I did walk up and down a couple of times and look at alternatives, but picked the Gulshaan as it looked popular and inviting, whereas other places were really quiet. It proved... More

We started off with the usual poppadoms and relish tray. They were the best poppadoms I've ever had. They were not oily, just crispy and the accompanying relishes were fresh and zingy. So often, in my experience, dishes in Indian restaurants seem to resemble oily bowls of goop. Not so in the Gulshaan. For instance, in the Saag Aloo side... More

Well, Tripadvisor didn't let me down! Had 3 hours to kill in Kentish Town and needed a curry. Quick search and this restaurant popped up - unassuming from the outside but lovely food, very friendly and attentive staff - top place!

We had walked past this unassuming restaurant opposite Kentish Town tube station for years, and boy do we feel stupid for not having tried it before! Gulshaan is home to some of the best Indian food either of us have ever eaten. The service is absolutely excellent, and the staff are happy to accommodate the less robust palette. When I... More

Gulshaan easily serves the best curry my partner & I have tasted in London (even better than anything we've tried in Brick Lane). The restaurant is usually quiet with friendly service and great quality food. The fact that they deliver was a revelation - we are regular customers and look forward to any excuse for a curry from Gulshaan. I... More

Best Indian takeaway i've had. Prices are reasonable. Very speedy service & very quick & curtious in resloving any order discrepancies. Been ordering from here for 6/7 years.

Popped in almost by chance, since i just moved to Kentish Town. The food is very tasty, delicate and delicioius. Portions are very rich (1 serving is enough for 2 people, really) Prices are affordable, i would almost say cheap, compared to the quality of service. Friendly and polite staff, quiet atmosphere, excellent transport links (right outside the Kentish Town... More

My girlfriend and I have been going to Gulshaan for years, having popped in once for a quick meal - as we lived locally. Even though we have now moved away, we regularly go out of our way to have enjoy a meal here. The food is well-priced (for two £35 approx) and delicious (Butter Murgh for example!) and the... More

I am a regular Gulshaan customer and have been for many years; I would say that they are the best Indian in the area; believe me I have tried all of them. The food and the service is excellent, the owners are extremely passionate about the quality of food that comes out of the kitchen, and it shows. The Paneer... More

Tiny portion (half a tub) and extortionate takeaway price, then found piece of chicken in a vegetarian dish!! Complained about above only to face excuses and argument - disgusting experience - won't eat from here again which is so disappointing as we love curry. AVOID this place if you like value for money, decent portions, vegetarian food and decent service!... More
