Great Indian food

Went here without a reservation and was sat down straightaway. Good drinks menu with some nice looking cocktails although I had a kingfisher. Great curry with good portions (although rice was slightly dry, not cooked fresh, a minor fault though). Staff very knowledgeable, professional and well... read more

Just the perfect venue for a nice and authentic Indian meal. The food is really simple so it the menu and yet the food is just amazing. The service is really lovely and staff is really knowledgable and the venue itself is really cool. I highly recommend this place i will be back soon, thanks for such a lovely meal.

Sunday evening, filthy weather, so a real treat to step into this oasis of colour and flavour. They do a tasting platter called a thali but we just ordered some street food as starters, then curries and sides off the menu. Portions are just right; not too huge, just perfect. Service is attentive without being intrusive and friendly without being... More

Not my first nor last visit to Masala Zone - the highly successful chain of Indian restaurants in London. This time with kids, and it was a great time for all. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure this was also a nice dining experience for the kids. The children's menu proved to be great. The Thalia menu keeps... More

Really lovely food, and facilities for the kids, there was crayons colouring books and lovely wall art to admire, the waitress was so helpful and friendly. It was not too expensive either

My partner and I chose this restaurant after being attracted to the proposition of real and authentic Indian food, and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant has a contemporary and refreshing feel to it, which helps deliver a relaxing atmosphere. The service was fantastic, with the staff always observant and attentive. Importantly, they were very knowledgeable with regards to the menu,... More

Contrary to Masala Zone Covent Garden , this branch is not busy most of the time. May be the presence of Khan's ( few meters away same road ) makes it very competitive in this area

If you live in London, you know about Masala. If you want to try Indian food that is the place to go. The staff are so well trained on explaining to you about the menu and how the food should be ordered and what goes well with an specific dish.

Visited on a Saturday lunchtime, shortly before the restaurant got very busy (And staff over-run) with a large group booking. If ever there was a 'tapas' style of Indian food, this fits the bill. We ordered a couple of street food items and a grand Thali to share - and everything was great - interesting and tasty. Our two year... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
