Description: Located in the heart of the imposing Canary Wharf area of London's Docklands, Jamie's Italian is the superb Italian restaurant from team Jamie Oliver, offering fantastic rustic Italian dishes with a touch of the Oliver magic. A relative newcomer to the Canary Wharf restaurant scene, Jamie's Italian not only attracts the hordes of local suited and booted from the nearby office towers, but also a good section of local residents and visiting shoppers. The menu is terrific with delicious back to basics dishes using the freshest of ingredients. Prices are surprisingly affordable too and the vibe is lively and informal. A great all rounder.

Last evening during my short visit to London, walking to my hotel, I run into Jamie's Italian restaurant. Curiosity and empty stomach made me to step in. Of course, no free places! I was informed, that waiting time is predictably 30 min. I was given a buzzer, fetched a glass of rose and find good company in the bar. After... More

Went to the branch of Jamie's Italian in Kingston. Couldn't have asked for better service and food. Went last minute to the restaurant and got taken through to the back - what an atmosphere! Lush. Had really nice pasta dish and the sauces were amazing. Would definitely go back here for dinner. Price wasn't too much either considering London prices... More

Hostess puts me at the bar, waiting on tables, in an empty restaurant. Could really puts you off. Fish of the day on the blackboard sounded good and indeed it was.The food turned up quickly, sizzling hot! Quality check one, OK! What I dislike is that you sometimes have to supplement the main course with side orders too get a... More

We have been to Jamies numerous times, as we have relatives living in Canary Wharf. Usually it is a very nice experience all round. However, this time we were somewhat surprised when we ordered a side dish of (I think titled) Spring Greens. This turned out to be 4/5 small florets of broccoli, the price was £3.95, which we reckoned... More

I have to ask the question does Jamie Oliver really know how bad the food that they are serving is here or is it that he doesn't care ? My fiancée and I wanted to eat here as we were in Canary wharf. I ordered pork scratchings a coffee and my fiancée ordered the Italian bread basket. The food turned... More

Unattentive waitress, bland main meal and delayed service. The gents WC fairly reflected the restaurant, with both urinals broken, one cubicle flooded and the other cubicle filthy. Thoroughly disappointed.

being a fan of Jamie's crusade to improve school food etc, we were shocked to find how bad his restaurants were. I had what was described as pan seared tuna - now Jamies home cooking web site suggests how this should be done, however this tuna had only seen a chillier plate! it was colder than the salad on top,... I visited Jamie's Italian with 2 work colleagues this week. I was very disappointed the food was lukewarm when it came out and by the time we finished it - it was cold. The service was average as it was very busy. We were all so tired after a long day so didn't have the energy to complain but now... More

Went for lunch to the Canary Wharf location with six colleagues visiting from overseas. Only after volunteering to break up our party into two tables did the front-of-house decide that maybe they could push two tables together. Service afterwards was slow and condescending. When we inquired about our food 45 minutes after ordering, the response was "Did you inform your... More
