Description: Located in the heart of the imposing Canary Wharf area of London's Docklands, Jamie's Italian is the superb Italian restaurant from team Jamie Oliver, offering fantastic rustic Italian dishes with a touch of the Oliver magic. A relative newcomer to the Canary Wharf restaurant scene, Jamie's Italian not only attracts the hordes of local suited and booted from the nearby office towers, but also a good section of local residents and visiting shoppers. The menu is terrific with delicious back to basics dishes using the freshest of ingredients. Prices are surprisingly affordable too and the vibe is lively and informal. A great all rounder.

Unattentive waitress, bland main meal and delayed service. The gents WC fairly reflected the restaurant, with both urinals broken, one cubicle flooded and the other cubicle filthy. Thoroughly disappointed.

Visited restaurant on 12 Sep - 140pm Restaurant had few empty tables, and not busy - but was asked to wait for 5 mins at the front to be seated. Ordered Crab pasta (2.5/5) Squid ink pasta (3/5) Rocket salad (3.5/5 - portion is small) Fried Calamari (3.5/5 - portion is small) - some chinese restaurants cook a better version... More

being a fan of Jamie's crusade to improve school food etc, we were shocked to find how bad his restaurants were. I had what was described as pan seared tuna - now Jamies home cooking web site suggests how this should be done, however this tuna had only seen a chillier plate! it was colder than the salad on top,... I visited Jamie's Italian with 2 work colleagues this week. I was very disappointed the food was lukewarm when it came out and by the time we finished it - it was cold. The service was average as it was very busy. We were all so tired after a long day so didn't have the energy to complain but now... More

Went for lunch to the Canary Wharf location with six colleagues visiting from overseas. Only after volunteering to break up our party into two tables did the front-of-house decide that maybe they could push two tables together. Service afterwards was slow and condescending. When we inquired about our food 45 minutes after ordering, the response was "Did you inform your... More

After wondering around to find a restaurant we stumbled upon Jamie's Italian Restaurant, just out of the reach of Piccadilly circus. Our waiter was very pleasant with a cheerful personality and wonderful sense of humor. I had the Jamie Italian burger which was cooked to perfection, I highly recommend this if your an American and your missing that once a... More

I went for a vegetarian meal which was lovely & my friend went for a very meaty meal! Both was great and I'd highly recommend this restaurant predominantly if you're into classic Italian dishes. Don't come here if you're after a curry or hot dog. Lol. So very Italiaaaan and yummy.

In a superb old building with amazing tiles! Surprisingly busy on Friday night but warm and welcoming. Food costs more than the usual Jamie's and there didn't appear to be any specials. Waiter was attentive and helpful. Octopus was big, not the usual baby stuff. Searood risotto was tasty. British lager beer is worth trying. Couldn't find the gents so... More
