Description: Located in the heart of the imposing Canary Wharf area of London's Docklands, Jamie's Italian is the superb Italian restaurant from team Jamie Oliver, offering fantastic rustic Italian dishes with a touch of the Oliver magic. A relative newcomer to the Canary Wharf restaurant scene, Jamie's Italian not only attracts the hordes of local suited and booted from the nearby office towers, but also a good section of local residents and visiting shoppers. The menu is terrific with delicious back to basics dishes using the freshest of ingredients. Prices are surprisingly affordable too and the vibe is lively and informal. A great all rounder.

It's a great, lively place to go with your partner or visiting guests. We've been here several times and have loved both the food and atmosphere both times. It's lively and there's jaunty music so don't expect a quiet, traditional romantic meal. The service is quite literally some of the best I've ever experienced in London. Really great.

Awful rubber slop is all I can say about the food, over priced and would definitely not waste my time or money again in one of his restaurants !

Visited here on a busy Friday night, we had booked and were shown to our table. We then sat there for nearly 20 minutes before we managed to catch the eye of a waiter to take our order. The starters were quick, sharing plank and breads, and then the main meals followed. Had to send mine back as there was... More

This was my first Jamie's experience and I would happily go back. Food: I had lasagne which was probably the best lasagne I've ever had! Really delicious, fresh and hot. Had a group of 10, including 2 children and 8 adults. All were happy with their meals! They were happy to adapt meals slightly for individual preferences. All came out... More

I had lunch here. As we walked in they immediately ask if I needed an high chair for my 2 years old baby. They took a baby menu, papers, stickers and colors. Bolognese for the baby was really good: the cooking of the pasta was a bit early but the ragù was really good. I had jamie's hamburger: meat was... More

This is a busy restaurant full of Canary Wharf folk who clearly think it offers a cheap alternative to some of the really pricey restaurants locally. And it does, though it's nothing special. The fit is nice if standard 'urban rustic' chain fare, the food was well cooked and tasty without being memorable, service was fine without being spectacular...I'm struggling... More

When I walk into a high profile restaurant like Jamie Oliver's in the middle of a business district, I expect to pay through my nose. I was pleasantly surprised at both the quality and price of the food. I had the restaurant-made pasta with Jamie's sauce. This was really yummy. I like my pasta quite al-dente and chef did not... We were in the area and a lot of restaurants just looked too expensive for us. We then saw Jamie's and were surprised that the menu's prices were really fair. We went in for a late lunch (almost an early dinner) and enjoyed every moment. We ordered the meat plate starter - the quality of each ingredient was brilliant. We... More

Its always nice when the waiter makes a nice meal even better. We order some really nice starters which the waiter helped us pick and his advise on the mains was really helpful too. We also ordered a half caraf of red wine. We cwere about a 1/3 of the way through the wine when we noticed thay had a... More
