Description: Perched along Duke Street in the heart of London's West End, Bella Italia...
Perched along Duke Street in the heart of London's West End, Bella Italia Duke Street is a top spot for affordable Italian dining. With a handful of the capital's major theatres close by, pre theatre diners flock to this branch of Bella Italia for a tasty meal before the show. Dishes such as Penne Marco Polo (duck in plum sauce served atop penne pasta) or Pollo Cacciatore (chicken breast topped with mozzarella and smoky bacon and tomato sauce) feature on an extensive menu. Round off with desserts such as Mascarpone Cheesecake served with red berry compote. Bella Italia offers something for all tastes and is very well priced for this part of the capital.

Very pleasant late lunch

Very good service, prompt and friendly. My sister ordered the Margarita pizza and I ordered the Quattro Stagioni. Both were excellent with thin crusts and lots of flavour. The only down side is that I ordered a glass of wine and up came a large one - I wasn't asked if I would like a small or large... read more

Excellent food. We just called in last minute after a very long shopping day on Saturday night - 4 of us and they were brilliant. Restaurant was full but they got us a table. Service excellent and food yummy.

Really enjoyed our family visit here. Great location close to the main shopping street. The children's menu was great and waitress was very attentive and friendly to my children. The restaurant was busy but we still received very good service. Food came quickly and was delicious - all of our family loved it. We will be back!

We went here for diner with our three children - the service was really family friendly and made us feel at home. We were expecting to find it expensive but were surprised at the good value. Service was quick and friendly. I had a pizza and may family had pasta and burgers, this was all amazing and well worth it.... More

We had dinner here on New Year's Eve. The place was packed and as a result , the service was off. The food came out about 30 minutes after ordering. Everything was hot and as ordered, but none of it was better than average. I'm rating the restaurant on the food, not the service and overall the food was mediocre.... More

The pizza and calzones are excellent. I would suggest the health pizza "olive" which was very delicious and a good s raving for dinner. They also have "mini" desserts which are about 3 bites worth and are perfect if you want something small after dinner. If you visit during the winter, ask for a table away from the door. The... The restaurant was very busy a week before Christmas but I managed to get a table near the door on a Thursday lunchtime. I enjoyed my canelloni and bread basket which were brought up quite quickly. Quite a good experience overall considering it's such a busy time of year.

Arrived at the restaurant at 4.30pm on Saturday 13th December, (having called a few weeks before to try and book a table, was told that bookings weren't taken on Saturday evenings - fair enough) we were advised that we would have a 30 minute wait - again this was fine and we accepted the wait. A group then arrived saying... More

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
