We visited late June 2015 for a 2nd time and I had the lamb and my wife had a combination. You get more food than you could possible eat so we requested to take away. The flavors generated by the chef were truly amazing. We had a great time and again, if we visit London again, we will return.

I managed to convince a vegetarian friend to eat meat by bringing her to Yialousa Greek Taverna, where you can eat traditional vegetarian dishes like stuffed eggplant, peppers, or vine leaves. Well, while eating those tasty and visually appealing treats she took a little bite from my plate of mezes, which smelled so good, plus I was raving about the... More

I stumbled on this place while walking by one evening and was pleasantly surprised by the food. It was early evening so the place was not crowded. I did enjoy the lamb very much, I ate and was on my way again. The service was decent, I got my appetizer, entree and Greek beer right on time. I did not... More

I've eaten in here on and off for quite a while. The staff are friendly and the food is typical greek home cooked. I kind of like the place and the food is generally OK. However, they don't print out proper vat chits when you come to pay. You get a hand written slip and unfortunately sometimes the amounts against... More

The food here is OK, that's about all that can be said for it, if not a tad overpriced for what it is. When we got the bill, the numbers did not add up,; in other words the long haired bloke had added his 10% without showing it on the total. When I challenged this, he immediately apologised and took... More

We waited an awfully long time for service and for our food. From my vantage point I watched one of the staff fixing his hair behind the counter. Gratuities were added to the bill, so be sure to check. The food was not great, but not bad either. If you are tired, as we were, and just need food, this... More

This weary traveler ate here twice during a 7-day stay, Very convenient to the Hotel Russell and best of all, the food was plentiful and well-prepared. Traveling can wear one down, I wanted a hot, well prepared, nourishing, affordable meal in a clean, quiet environment. This is it!

At 8pm my family (4 of us) all decided we were hungry so I rang Yialousa and asked if they could do gluten free meals, they said yes and we booked in for 8:45pm. We arrived to an almost full restaurant which is a great recommendation and the food, atmosphere and staff were all brilliant - attentive but not overly... More

Yialousa Greek Taverna was the solution for our party joining hearty meat-eaters and devoted vegetarians. We dug into sumptious Greek sausages, awesomingly seasoned falafels, and supremely tasty stuffed aubergines. The service like the food was first-rate. I am happy to have discovered a restaurant that can please all my friends! Carmen
