Approached the restaurant because of the fun decor outside. While looking at the menu outside, a waitress came to the door and stood watching us inches away. Ready to welcome, I suppose but felt intimidating. Ordered food (vegetable mousakka and spaghetti Bolognese). Food arrived quickly...too quickly. Suspect food had been defrosted and reheated, Bolognese was tasteless and mousakka was soggy.... More

We had the meze here - an interesting selection all nicely cooked. Staff were very welcoming and attentive, but not at all pushy. A very pleasant meal

I have been several times in this nice restaurant, both with my daughter and husband, and with friends. Excellent food and atmosphere. Very good hummus, mousaka, lamb, the chicken with rice and cream sauce, the greek stew , etc etc We were there for christmas, and had christmas dinner with friends. We got back to our hotel to late to get food so nipped across the road to this restaurant we were the only customers it had gone ten o clock and we were welcomed with open arms. We had two kids with us 13 and 7 and they were made as welcome and specially catered for. The food was authentic... More

I had a very bad experience in this restaurant, when I received the starter (stuffed mushroom) and barely touching the plate I burned my finger. Not only I was not told the plate was burning hot, but most importantly, when I reported the accident to the waitress and the manager they both ignored me and even laughed at it -... More

Excellent/Interesting Greek menu and wine list. Pleasant and helpful staff. Food was tasty and plenty of it. Wine as recommended by waitress was more than drinkable at £20 a bottle. Reasonable prices and worth a visit if you're staying anywhere in the area.

We visited Yialousa on Christmas Eve. The service was great. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. The “kitch” decor actually reminded me of taverns back home. The menu is a fusion of Cypriot, Greek, Turkish but also Italian and European cuisine. The Cypriot meze is quite good and plenty (as it should be) and it is served with Cyprus... More

Its called the Yialousa greek restaurant and we think its the best restaurant in this area and we did some walking around to check out the rest. The welcome was warm and friendly, the atmosphere reminded me of many places in Cyprus and... More

Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions.
