Good food, nice people, but a bit expensive.

This restaurant is something different, and it's always good to have some variety! Some frankly delicious food, with very good service. The wines are probably a bit expensive for the quality, and overall a full meal is going to be a bit spendy. Definitely worth a try, though.

I went to Tamada after 3 years again and was amazed that the quality of food is even better than before. The atmosphere was good with one little missing part, waitresses were not smiling, seem she was not a mood. However the food aubergines and lamb in lots of herbs with red fruitfully wine Mukuzani were so good we did... More

I visited this restaurant at the urging of my daughter who had lived in the area and loved this cuisine, which is completely unlike anything I had eaten before. It's wise to order the typical Georgian bread served with eggs on top as a starter on arrival as it takes a while to prepare but is worth every mouthful! The... More

I've booked a table in Tamada to see my best friends remembered from last time such a good atmosphere and amazing food... Unfortunately not anymore. Straight away when we've entered the restaurant we've seen bad mood of a waitress. For the rest of the night no even smile for a second. Such a shame no music in the background whitch... More

We noticed reviews for this restaurant while staying in the area and it sounded intriguing. We chose mostly menu items with a symbol indicating they were house specialties recommended by the chef (red beans, lamb with tarragon). Most everything was very good with some flavors and combinations of flavors that were new to us. The service was attentive and friendly.... More

I have been to Tamada restaurant on several occasions, usually with family or few friends. Have to say that the atmosphere and the food are always good. But recently I have decided to hold a birthday party at Tamada restaurant and I was not disappointed. Everything was organized to perfection. The food was lovely and the service attentive. So, will... More

Made a special trip out to Maida Vale to try this place out. If you haven't had georgian food then you must have it! incredibly delicious it is. By Georgian standards this place is pretty good, all the starters were really nice and presented with a little flair. The Khachapuri was not the best i've had but still noteworthy. The... More
