Great Food, Good Service, iffy tipping

I've just returned from a scrumptious meal at Orjowan of Earl's Court. A friend and I shared the veggie set menu. The falafel, hummus, tabbuleh, breads etc.. were just delicious. Good food. We probably ordered too much but it was a very tasty selection. We had some excellent Tabbouli and Fattouche with a Chicken kebab which was very tender and moist. Good bottle of Lebanese wine made for two happy customers.

Food from this side of the Med is great, and I wasn't disappointed here. We had some cold and hot mezze dishes, and then kebabs and chops, all good. It is a local and fairly small restaurant, service was friendly and informal. I would eat here again.

There are a lot of Lebanese eateries in London. This one is terrific, fresh mountain-style food and very reasonably priced wines. Worth a night out!

Visited last night. Food was delicious we had the gourmet set menu and enjoyed every course which just kept appearing. The staff were friendly and helpful, they even prepared an off menu dish for us. Lovely atmosphere even though it was very busy a really authentic gem!

Came here on a cold lunchtime and the restaurant was a bit chilly. I was sat next to a radiator so that helped. Food was great. One of the better Lebanese restaurants I've eaten at. Really enjoyed getting a mix of mezze, each one was tasty, fresh and nicely presented. The shwoarma was very good, topping the humous. Mint tea... More

We booked a table after a visit to the local Finborough Theatre and arrived at 10 pm. It was busy and buzzy. The staff were very friendly and the menu extensive. We asked for a bottle of house wine but were pressed into having an alternative which was fine, but the house wine was probably also fine! Three of us... More

This restaurant is excellent. Family run, the food is gorgeous. It was a Wednesday night but very busy. All the food being brought out looked very tasty. Very reasonable price as well. Makes up for dining out alone !! The chicken kebab on the photos was what I had, with spinach pastries to start

I went for an early dinner and chose this restaurant because it served food all afternoon and sounded interesting. When I got there mid-afternoon there were a few tables finishing lunch and when I left early evening the first few tables for dinner had filled up. Hence it was a pleasant casual atmosphere and it appeared that it attracted customers... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
