My son wants to go back and eat Ravioli

Me and my wife had pizza + bruschetta and home wine which was Montepulciano and had ravioli for our son. Pizza was okey wine was good, best of all ravioli was fantastic. I think I will have to learn to prepare same spinach ricotta ravioli or cannelloni at home. As all the London restaurants found... read more

One of my favorite places to eat when I am in London. Authentic Italian food, fresh ingredients, deliciously prepared. A fun neighborhood place, with Italian-speaking staff, reasonably priced. I go every time I am in London!

Visited here while in London with friends. Nice food, just felt that the service was rushed as plates were cleared while some of the party were still eating.

Very good Italian food and good service. The wine list was also good. Pricing is reasonable for food of this quality. A thoroughly enjoyable experience

My husband and I have been here about 6 or 7 times during the last 2 summers during our London summer vacations. The food is good and reasonably priced. The service is also good, but to be fair, we tend to go at non-busy times of the day. This year, the Old Amalfi did not disappoint us and we will... More

If we'd had gotten a sandwich at Tesco's and sat in the middle of a tube station at rush hour it would have been a better meal! We went here based on Tripadvisor reviews, and apparently so did every one else in Europe. The restaurant was overcrowded and so loud that the waiter could not even hear our orders. The... More

I stopped here after reading the reviews on TA, and, being Italian travelling with an english colleague and a Japanese guest, in someway I took the responsibility to choose and drive them to Italian cuisine. The restaurant is very nice, clean, with old Amalfi photos on the walls and nice waiters. We all went for pizzas. But all the three... More

It was no the best, but I would recommend it anyway. We ordered Ravioli which was excellent, but then the pizza had too acid sauce and bit of mozzarella cheese. The people is really kind and polite.

We booked early as we were off to a concert. There were already a few people eating. We didn't have long so just had pizzas which were perfectly fine plus half a bottle of Italian white wine which was reasonably priced. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel very welcome. If we were to go back, we would... More

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
