Friendly and very cozy

Cozy Italian restaurant. Was with a group of 4 and we all liked what we got. Also the staff was very nice, would eat there again.

If we'd had gotten a sandwich at Tesco's and sat in the middle of a tube station at rush hour it would have been a better meal! We went here based on Tripadvisor reviews, and apparently so did every one else in Europe. The restaurant was overcrowded and so loud that the waiter could not even hear our orders. The... More

I stopped here after reading the reviews on TA, and, being Italian travelling with an english colleague and a Japanese guest, in someway I took the responsibility to choose and drive them to Italian cuisine. The restaurant is very nice, clean, with old Amalfi photos on the walls and nice waiters. We all went for pizzas. But all the three... More

It was no the best, but I would recommend it anyway. We ordered Ravioli which was excellent, but then the pizza had too acid sauce and bit of mozzarella cheese. The people is really kind and polite.

We booked early as we were off to a concert. There were already a few people eating. We didn't have long so just had pizzas which were perfectly fine plus half a bottle of Italian white wine which was reasonably priced. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel very welcome. If we were to go back, we would... More

I found the food to be very poor quality. The olives were cheap and were unmarinated. The wine wasn't cheap but again, was of poor quality. My basic pasta with tomato and basil sauce was the nicest part of the meal, but I felt disappointed when my side dish finally appeared. The sautéed spinach should have been relatively dry, with... My husband chose soup then Lamb and crushed potatoes, i had Ravioli stuffed with ricotta cheese, portions are huge , especially the soup which was brought out in a large dish, the lamd was very succulent, and needless to say the plate was left clean. my ravioli was... We saw this restaurant on our first night and were sorry we did'n't go straight away , but our deal at the hotel included dinner on the first night. On the second night however, we made a booking, and received a very warm welcome by the very friendly and enthusiastic staff. The restaurant was full and fairly noisy, which is... More

The staff was very personable and the food was excellent. It seemed to me that the prices were very reasonable.

Have been here several times and this restaurant has never failed to impress. I ate here recently with a group of friends on a Tuesday evening and even then the atmosphere was great. The prices are very reasonable for London (including the price of the wines) and the food is of an excellent standard. The service is attentive but not... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
