We came here by the recommendation of our local friend. They had called ahead of time and thought they made a reservation, but when we got there, they didn't have anything on file. They put our names in for 30 minutes later, and it worked out fine. Had a nice bloody Mary by the fire while we waited for our... More

I went there on a Saturday evening for the first time a couple of weeks ago with some friends. The atmosphere was nice and pleasant, I particually liked the fact that this pub does not have any big screens showing sports or beefy bouncers on the door. The drinks list was very good, with many different kinds to choose from.... More

Good food, great atmosphere, and awesome service. Our server, Willow, was so sweet. Definitely a get place to grab a drink and a bite to eat if you're in the neighborhood.

The food was ok, nothing to say about that. However unfortunately it was an unpleasant experience because of the poor service. We ordered our food and it came 45 minutes after. The staff kept on saying they were extremely busy despite the place not being full. Two of our friends came late and they were told they could not order... More

the owners clearly dont care what they are doing to their staff and customers. a beautiful pub in a great location with a fantastic upstairs theatre is ruined by hassled, stressed staff, long queues at bar and bad food. The bar counter covered in red wine which my friend got all over her coat. When we pointed this out a... More

Two of us ordered food from the theatre menu. Luckily we had plenty of time before we were due at our entertainment as it took the skeleton staff 20 minutes to inform us that what we had ordered for starters was not available and the whole meal took over an hour. Plainly, despite having a theatre menu, this place is... More

Having booked to see Nicholas de Jong's new play, The Unquiet Grave of Federico Garcia Lorca at the Drayton Arms, it seemed a good idea to eat an early supper in the pub restaurant, as they have a special pre-theatre menu of £10 for two courses, £13 for three. Otherwise there is a comprehensive a la carte menu, with lots... More

We have eaten at the Drayton Arms for many years on our biannual trips to England. This time we dined on a Saturday night, quite busy for them with a theatre presentation upstairs later in the evening. For dinner tonight my husband ordered a three-course prix fixe dinner for £13, which included a seared whitebait starter, sausages and mustard mashed... More
