Description: Start your holiday with a Bacon Butty or the famous Bloody Mary hangover-cure at The Tin Goose in Heathrow Airport Terminal 1, overlooking the planes and offering a haven from the stress of a busy airport terminal. Geronimo's first airport site, named after the first all-metal aeroplane, The Tin Goose evokes memories of travel in the 30's and 40's with antique trunks used as tables, port holes, retro burnt-orange velvet banquettes and binoculars for watching the planes land. The menu boasts an all-day English breakfast, freshly-made sandwiches, fish and chips, Charcuterie platter and more. The char-grilled prime beef burger with all the trimmings is also a firm favourite. Whether a single traveller, group or family, the Goose is ideal for relaxing and unwinding before boarding your plane. There is no better way to begin your holiday, so make sure The Tin Goose is the first stop on your itinerary.

The Tin Goose is not as dedicated to the presentation of real ales as the Wetherspoon pubs (including its Heathrow branches). After last and this year's visits of the Campaign for Real Ale's Great British Beer Festival in early August, the Goose's tasting tray offer (three third-pint glasses with English cask ales) sounded tempting to me. But they never had... More

The Tin Goose although not outstanding is a good place to refuel after a flight. The selection of food is good and I enjoyed my meal. The service was excellent and price especially for an airport are reasonable.

They've tried to emulate Huxley's in T5, but failed miserably. Don't even bother. High prices, low quality. Full breakfast = lots of (cold) beans, a sausage, a slice of bacon, a badly fried egg and 2 pieces of toast...

Pub looks great & in a prime location in Heathrow T1. On our visit the service was slow and clumsy, with only one fella behind the bar. Food was OK but nothing special for the price. Great decor and very comfy, shame the service lets it down.

I walked into tin goose seeing the eclectic decor which stood out amongst the waves of amenities that take over every airport. I was seated almost immediately, which was expected as the place was empty on this morning, and an order placed very soon after. My eggs Benedict arrived with very well done eggs and a muffin that was a... More

Prime position in Terminal1, Heathrow. Good atmosphere. Drinks only, you sit left hand side , the window side is for Diners. So, we lunched. It was so nearly good, but everything was - not hot - and had obviously been lying in heaters keeping lukewarm. My Ham, Egg and Chips, even the egg appeared to be recycled. The portions were... More

Starts with horrible service and deteriorates from there! You would think they get the idea that people are in a rush. Our server did not get it despite our request for speedy service. The food was just ok but again the service was awful. We were finished with our lunch when our side order of potatoes showed up. We requested... More

Wanted a decent breakfast before a mid morning flight and the Tin Goose was the first eatery we saw in the terminal. They were pretty busy and so the service was not especially fast. The full english looked nice and was perfectly edible, but for the price was basic and not very hot. Would probably keep going and find an... More

14:00, starving. Closest place to me that looked decent was the tin goose. I figured, looks good, let's try it. 10mins before I was seated. Had to probe a waitress eventually for some service. Menu choice sucks, ordered a burger, cheese was a quid extra. Arrived withing 15 mins. Sufficient meat on the burger. Food: barely any cheese, relish was... More

Seriously believe the reviews. Sit down and enjoy a nice warm pint if you like, but DO NOT have food unless it's a sealed bag of crisps!! I have just been made £12.95 for a burger and fries which was completely inedible but only marginally warmer that the beer.. Seriously appalling in every way, the roll and the 'meat' was... More
