Views over Tower bridge and Tower of London. Wetherspoon prices and good quality food. What more could you want in such a touristy area. I

Travelled to London on an early Saturday am train from York, decided that a visit to this Wetherspoons would be a great way to have breakfast before our tourism duties. We got to the restaurant by 9.30am and managed to get a table at a window. Just in time as within 30 minutes the place had really filled up. We... More

Went here before seeing the poppies as I've been here before and it's always been good and a lot quieter but on Sunday it was packed! We found a table for 2 quite quickly ordered 2 meal & drink deals at the bar and waited about 5-10 minutes and our roast chicken and original beef burger were lovely. We'll done... More

The Liberty Bounds - Such a great restaurant/pub! Being American my daughter and I had no idea how the pub worked. However, a kindly fellow coming out explained that you find a table (claim it), read the menu, order at the bar and await the delicious meal. I had their ribs and chicken with fries & onion rings - fall... More

The Beef and Abbot Ale Pie is really really good. I had here the most decadent chocolate fudge cake. Delightful. I give it a 9 out of 10 overall.

We visited early on a Saturday morning before we visited the Tower of London. It was already very busy at around 8:30am. We went upstairs to the first floor as there were no seats available (it was very warm up there) and when we went to order our food we were told we couldn't sit up there for food. So... More

Went to see the poppies on a Saturday and went there for lunch afterwards. It was rammed yet staff kept up brilliantly. We waited a while for a table but not an unreasonable time. Service and food was good.

The Liberty Bounds stands on the corner just over the road from The ticket booths of the Tower of London. Purchased tickets then headed to pub for late breakfast. Spacious inside and tables were clean and cleared. Promptly served at bar with drinks and food order, good value food and drink for London prices. A place to call in and... More

Had lunch here on Sunday, was exceptionally busy but staff were still very polite and attentive. Food arrived in what was a reasonable length of time considering how busy they were. Food good and tasty. No complaints. Second visit here and would not hesitate going again. You get a good choice at reasonable prices with friendly polite staff.
