Its a spoons

It's a Wetherspoons, it does what it says on the tin. Good food relatively cheep. We went on a Wednesday and had the chicken wings, nice and spicy

Often pop in for drinks with friends. It's always busy with a good atmosphere. More expensive than some Wetherspoons, but you pay for location! We had breakfast here a few months ago and the food took quite a long time to come out and then one of our orders was not correct so had to be remade.

Came here on a Friday night for a few drinks. Service was good. Prices weren't too steep (for London!) and waiting staff very friendly.

We stopped here the other night and had their Indian Thursday meals. Food was good and price was unbelievable. Much cheaper beer and food than other surrounding pubs.

Does not matter where you are in the UK, Wetherspoons offers fantastic value for quality food even in the centre of London. 5 of us (5 adults) visited the Tower of London, afterwards we wanted something to eat, it was Wetherspoons "Steak Tuesday" special so 3 steak meals, one Mexican burito meal and 1 cheese burger meal plus a bottle... I ate here after taking a tour of the Tower of London. It's very conveniently located just up the hill and across the road. It was crowded and felt quite touristy (probably due to the location), but the fish and chips were very tasty and the service was fast. The meal itself is nothing special enough to write home about,... More

If you are used to wetherspoons this place won't disappoint. Right in the centre of London with amazing views of the Tower of London and tower bridge. Prices were the same as anywhere else - which is refreshing!! We were served quickly and food came promptly. I especially think the meals with drinks are great value. Kids meals are only... More

The pub overlooks the Tower of London which is a nice setting while eating your meal. The food was lovely and excellent value for money with a drink included with some meals. It serves until 11pm and children are welcome. Well worth a visit.

Visited here prior to our tour of The Tower of London. It's right across the road and just minutes from the tube. It was really busy as Wetherspoons always tend to be. Service was quick and efficient, staff friendly enough. Great prices too. I wasn't as impressed with my sandwich as I have been with other choices I've made, however... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
