Good value and location!

– Always seems to be busy, even with two floors. View of the Tower of London on opposite side of road. Good service. Reasonable prices as you’d expect at a Wetherspoons. The superfood salad with salmon was about £10 and was lovely. Across a park (1 minute) from Tower Hill tube station.

Not many Wetherspoons were you can have such an amazing view.Very popular drinking hole with City workers. You may have to hover for a table, gets very busy. Menu prices only seemed about £1 more than our local at home. You know what youre getting and its good!

Visited for breakfast before going to stump round the Tower of London with the family on a blustery February morning. I had been here once before in the mid '00's and remember being reasonably impressed then, and was again on this visit. It would be all too easy to just trade on the strength of the location but the service,... More

Visited for a quick meal and drink with friends - Steak meal and a drink for under a tenner - can't go wrong. Sure the steak wasn't the best I've ever had but it was not the worst either - perfectly acceptable pub food at a great price for Central London. If you're doing the tourist bit and want food... Came here with my husband for breakfast and it was lovely. Best breakfast I have had at a Wetherspoons establishment. Would definitely go back

Used to come here quite often before football on a Saturday but han't been for a while. Went for breakfast last Saturday and it made me recall why I used to go so often previously. The breakfasts were fantastic and good value and the service was also very good. I did not get any toast with my veggie breakfast and... More

I visited here for a pint, and had a pint of Real Ale. Standard Wetherspoons and had a good pint of Broadside.

A friend and I did a walking tour around the Tower of London with a discounted ticket to enter the Tower. We stopped here for a coffee before the tour started and liked it so much we went back for dinner afterwards. Very busy but lots of space and interesting information and facts on the walls. The food was really... More

For anyone visiting the Tower and wanting a reasonable meal in convivial surroundings, this place has everything going for it. I imagine that in the summer it must get pretty packed although its certainly got loads of seating, spread over two floors. On a bitterly cold January evening there was certainly no problem in getting a table and first impressions... More

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
