We were recommended here by a friend and we had a great meal. This place is a cut above the usual London Chinatown restaurants Ive experienced over the last few years that are packed with people and all seem to serve the same dishes - good quality, fresh food and good service in a stylish venue. We tried a bit... More

If you like Chinese and like London you wouldn't go far wrong eating here... The location is great and the food matches the expectation of the décor....... I didn't give it a five as the service is not the best with items forgotten and still charged, although this was rectified and didn't spoil the visit, I put it down to... More

We went to Plum for a post birthday celebration. First impression? Loved the decor, location and ambience. I will admit the waitress wasn't warm and fuzzy but she was at least attentive and able to answer questions. The food was great from the pork to the chicken mango dish we ordered everything was very tasty. Its also extremely popular eatery... More

There are other venues in Chinatown (Wan Chai Corner, New Loon Fung) that offer as good or better dim sum, bigger portions and cheaper than this and in the case of New Loon Fung, the service is a lot better. So why go to Plum Valley? Well the booths they have are nice, it portrays itself as a fancy "Fine... More

Stopped here for some dinner before going to the theatre - we came by earlier in the afternoon asking if we needed to book for later, a friendly waitress assured us we didn't. Turned up a couple of hours later and were found a table straight away (1st floor which is a bit nicer as it's not as dark!). Ordered... More

We went to this restaurant as they serve dim sum in the evening which is quite rare unless you want to go to Ping Pong. They don't provide the dim sum menu unless you ask for it. The dim sum was good, however, I probably wouldn't come back unless I wanted evening dim sum again as the prices are higher... More

Went with my son for a nice meal and with a view to booking a party. Been recommended by someone i trusted. Service was terrible from start to finish, literately threw the food on the table and told to "hurry up we're busy". Conned us on the plum valley platter which was 9.95, we ordered one, crispy duck and rice... More

Popped in form a Chinese dinner with a friend, who I have not seen for a long time. Wanted to avoid the usual crowd of China Town hence chose this restaurant that looked a bit more upmarket. Yes, we had privacy, but the good was not match for any random Chinese restaurant in the area. Went for a whole Peking... More

Excellent food in nice surroundings makes this the bet Chinese in Chinatown. Sure it's a little rough around some of the edges but that's all the separates it from being truly awesome. Give it a go, it's actually outstanding value for money even though on the surface it appears more expensive than the competition, it's much much better.

Very nice dim sum in pleasant surroundings. The dining room is a little dark but has a nice atmosphere. The dim sum ranged from good to excellent, with the har gau and chive and prawn dumplings being stand outs in particular. Cheung fun was also very good. The wine list was impressive for a Chinese restaurant and we had a... More
