In the heart of China Town this little gem describes itself as "Fine dining" and I have to agree, with an extensive wine list we opted for an Argentinian Malbec, reasonable at £25 bottle, lovely full bodied and smooth. The best crispy duck I've ever had. Crispy on the outside and lovely and succulent inside. Nice touch that we asked for a few more pancakes etc and it came at no extra charge. Also highly recommend the soft shell crag and scallop starters! Nice atmosphere inside, tables laid out in booths so you get some privacy. Would recommend booking,... More

Went today with a business acquaintance and loved it. Was not sure whether to go, does not fit the China Town look and feel, much more faux fancy. Had dim sum for lunch, though, and thought it was great. The dim sum had much deeper and more complex flavors and was not at all greasy. Among the dim sum that... More

I needed a break from shopping and the traditional chinese restaurant where I usually go for dim sum had closed down. I found this one by chance, it looks upmarket from the outside, and when I looked at the menu I was intrigued as I have never come across some of the menu items before, though I have eaten dim... Good menu with some unusual dishes also a separate dim sum menu (you may need to ask for this). Dim sum great, chicken pot delicious but the chilli prawn noodle was a delight. Good wine list and reasonable prices. Service was good for a very busy restaurant.

I have been coming here for years and have never been left disappointed. I always request the dim sum menu and the food is always of high quality. Having also eaten off the main menu I can vouch for any duck or pork dish. The prices are to be expected from the main menu but the dim sum menu is... More

We went pre-theatre. Food all came at once which suited us but if I went back I may stagger the food order. Service was good. Food was all good, crispy duck delicious. Setting was nicer than some of the more traditional Chinese restaurants in Chinatown. A bit more top end price wise for Chinatown reflects this.

Not the nicest surroundings we were in the basement room so noisy but good food lots of Chinese eating there which should be a good sign. Reasonable size portions for four cost was £98 staff seamed stressed at times but lunchtime on a Sunday is probably the busiest

Overall we were disappointed with our experience. The service was brusque if not totally unfriendly, the dishes were expensive and mostly quite disappointing compared to our expectations having looked at reviews and the restaurant's own website. We shared the starter platter which was by far the best part of the meal. After that, the main courses lacked refinement and the... More

We were recommended to go to this restaurant and we were not disappointed, the crispy duck was the best we have had, give it a go.

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
