Fab dim sums

Went to Plum Valley as the review in their dim sums was so good. As we had a evening dinner reservation we were initially offered the standard menu and had to ask for the dim sum menu, which was happily provided. Great place - definitely recommend to anyone who lives quality Chinese & is willing to pay for it. The prices were a bit on the high end but it was worth it. Very nice, quite interior with wonderful service & food.

This is our favourite place in China town. Good is always fantastic. Wasabi prawns are my favourite. They're amazing!!

The welcome and decor mark this restaurant out as something different from the others in Gerrard St. The polished black walls and soft music along with linen napkins and dressed tables impress on arrival. Staff were attentive and helpful in choosing options. The food was excellent, I agree with the previous comments about being a standout in China Town. The... More

Excellent food and service. Have eaten here for work and with friends on half a dozen times- never fails to impress. If you are looking for somewhere upmarket in Chinatown this should be top of your list.

Though I can appreciate Chinese cuisine, I generally stay clear of Chinatown when it comes to dining, simply because I have low tolerance for rude service - which is pretty much a given there. However today we needed to satisfy an urge for dim sum, and since we were in the area we opted for lunch at Plum Valley. With... More

This chinese restaurant is located in chintown, and I think this is the only chinese restaurant with different interior concept than others, mostly in London, the chinese restaurants look very chinese style , but this one is more modern contemporer minimalist kinda style , very fine dining style. I tried pokchay , spareribs infused jasmine , and pecking duck ...... More

Absolutely love this place!!! I'm a big dim sum fan and love in London, this place is by far the best dim sum restaurant I have found. Unlike a lot of Chinese restaurants they serve dim sum all day not just till late afternoon. Great value for food, just make sure you ask for the dim sum menu as the... More

Had an evening meal here with work colleagues from the US. The atmosphere is dark and sumptuous. The menu is amazing and pushes Chinese food to it's exotic end. Pricey but worth the experience.

The decor in the restaurant is nice and modern - lots of dark colours and slate walls so makes a change from many of the near by restaurants. The food was nice and well presented but nothing which really blew me away - I would say it was of a similar standard to what you find in the neighbouring restaurants.... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
