lovely food but very low ambience

We visited during a pre-Christmas visit to London. We booked a table, expecting that it would be busy on a Friday evening but were surprised to find that only three or four tables were taken. A duet were providing live music to this sparse clientele. The staff were friendly and organised and keen... read more

Cozy speciality-foods grocery and cafe serving delicious organic meals with ingredients sourced directly from the owner's farm. Atmosphere in the cafe upstairs is bright and pleasant and communal tables create a casual and relaxed dining experience. The restaurant Staff is very attentive and friendly and also knowledgable about the menu. In addition to the terrific food and service there is... More

This is an excellent restaurant. The quality of the food is superb and the dishes are full of flavor. The portions, particularly of the salads are generous. My hamburger, made with organic beef straight from the farm, was small compared to what you get in American restaurants. But, the flavor was outstanding, so I felt very satisfied at the end.

Went for Sunday brunch without reserving so had to wait a while for a table but worth the wait. Delicious salads with unusual combinations. Lovely staff friendly and accommodating. Great lunch and brunch place. Not really a dinner venue though.

Debated between Ottolengi and this place as wanted something fresh in a nice setting. Opted for Daylesford. What a mistake. Over priced and small portions. Scrambled eggs came with one lousy piece of toast so asked for another one and was charged extra 1.5 on top of the £8 they charge for the poor scrambled eggs. The yoghurt with the... More

The cutest little egg spot in London. The food is great and so fresh! Everything (almost) comes from their own farm and you can really taste the difference. The waiting during the weekend is also much shorter then Grangers, whereas the eggs and bacon are much better! Enjoy!

Very nice allwhite and wood style decor. Small but interesting menu. Unfortunately we did not have a nice experience with the service: - had to repeat 4-5 times our order - some of the staff were not resolving and needed to ask to someonelse that never came - bad quality of croissant and bread toast was burned

We had a lovely breakfast here. Delicious poached eggs on toast, with two Americanos. Simple meal, but really flavourful & nicely presented. Would return, as lunch menu looked very good.

Modern setting, good organic food (although portions are small) and friendly staff. Nevertheless not good value for money.

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
