Went for Sunday breakfast/brunch. I am usually a little wary of "organic" restaurants/cafés. It's like that word entitles them to put an extra pound or two on every dish. This wasn't really the case here and if you aren't a big fan of organic, this isn't too in your face (no staff wearing save the world shirts or bearing multiple... More

Let me start off by saying that the place is nicely decorated and it has a good feel to it. The food was OK and it has a very good brunch menu. However, the service was terrible. Our table was served by the hostess/head waitress. Her attitude was bad/rude and she had no patience to explain anything about on the... More

Great atmosphere and terribly fresh eggs. Friendly staff and very tasty bread. My coffee was nice and hot and I naughtily bought a take-away Danish Pastry which was very fine indeed. In fact, my add on sale was high as there are lots of lovely tasting plates at the Deli end and I just had to buy some cheese and... More

The best eggs Benedict I ever had and I have been to a lot of brunch places. The same goes for eggs royale. The eggs themselves are amazing, they are creamy and perfectly poached. Standard brunch price, but if you want to do your grocery shopping at daylesford, that's going to be 3x more expensive than usual (however the quality... More

Daylesford is a great neighbourhood deli/cafe/farm shop which promotes British products, especially from its farm. Things are expensive however, but the staples are affordable and great quality, such as the legbar eggs that have a blue-ish shell and bright yellow yolk, and the organic milk. The cafe is a nice area to have brunch or coffee with friends. The salad... More

An interesting mix of reviews on here. I think it would be unfair to suggest that the food is anything other that good quality, fresh and healthy. Having had breakfast there now twice in as many weeks I found the service to be friendly, relaxed and quick. The food, whilst probably on the more expensive end of the breakfast spectrum... More

We got 20 percent off when staying at the. Main House, the coffee was fresh and pastries and croissants a daily routine.

I went here with a small group on a Saturday afternoon, and was excited by the food and general concept. I'd heard good things. Simply put, the food was okay but I expected more. My main course left me hungry (and I'm not a massive eater). The main problem was the service, it just seemed quite disorganised. Staff were friendly... More

We went to have lunch here. It looked very nice but the staff are snooty. We were a two and there were seats available but we were told that we would have to wait 20 minutes. Probably best just to say they didn't want us there! Organic but even so, very expensive and very little vegetarian on the menu. We... More
