Excellent food

If you stay at The Main House around the corner in Notting Hill, you receive special pricing. Staffing here is uneven, but the food is superb and for London, reasonable. Highly recommend scrambled eggs and salmon, and scones with clotted cream. You may prefer filtered coffee vs Americano which can... read more

£11,50 for a miserly portion of scrabbled eggs, smoked salmon and slightly burnt toast. Great brand, nice surroundings but pretty poor value.

We literally stumbled across this restaurant on a drive round the other day. Although we only partook of scones and coffee, which were both delicious, the menu and food we could see, looked absolutely delicious. The place itself is impressive particularly the farm produce and cookery courses on offer. A word of warning - take plenty of money with you,... More

We had a delicious hearty breakfast in Daylesford and it felt like having a fresh breakfast in a farm. I had poached eggs with smoked salmon which was just right, and a delicious yogurt bowl. Service was good and fast. I would love to go back and try more dishes. They have a little organic grocery section which was fun.

I went with friends for breakfast and the place is impressive, very beautiful, selling all kind of product with the best quality and everything is absolutely well presented. The bad point for what I cannot place the best rating is that you have to wait normally like 30 minutes before can sit and you cannot book in advance, which makes... More

Good and organic food, a bit too much on marketing and branding, but overall a good experience. Too bad you can't book, meaning you have to queue on week ends, especially for brunch They close very early on Sunday, at 4pm....

If a (more or less) dedicated concept revolves around Organic produce, the quality is paramount. The one area difficult to control is the fresh produce, ie; greens, fruit & veg - we'd expect some pock-marking etc but actually every single item on offer on Good Friday morning was fantastic - massive unwaxed lemons, great ready-prepped rainbow chard, wild garlic leaves... The food was absolutely great (breakfast), the staff was amazing as well! We don't even live by this area, but we go by taxi every morning just to go here! Love the cafe, would recommend to everyone. 5/5

During my short stay here in London, Daylesford Notting Hill is a place where I frequently buy organic meat, vegetables and ready-to-cook meals. I had wanted to try a meal at the establishment because the promise they hold out is that most of the food they serve is sourced from their farms. Consequently I took one of my guests there... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
