Always a good decent meal with fab service

We always like to go to Browns pre-theatre. The food certainly isn't the best food you will ever have but it is tasty and fast and the place always has a good atmospere. Price wise it is very reasonble and the cocktails are fantasic. We had a particularly good waiter the other night - Rico - very... read more

It was another theatre night for me in London and we'd aimed to go to a restaurant other than Brown's but we had waited in line for 25 minutes and time was getting slim. Most places were full by then and because my last experience here was not great, I didn't want to go again. However, they had a free... More

Visited on a Saturday, following a prior booking to have a traditional high tea and it was lovely. This was a friend's treat. However, on examining the menu, given the location the prices were reasonable and on observing not only our food, but that being served to others, the standard was high and represented good value for money. The environment... More

Took my mum and auntie for afternoon tea. Very pleasant surroundings and friendly staff. Afternoon tea was okay for the price.

It was Saturday evening and we wanted something to eat. We weren't teribley hungry nd our first choice would have meant an hours wait for a table. Then we said' let's go to Browns' a place we first started frequenting while we were in Oxford. We both ordered fish cakes and M ordered the terrine to start and chips with... More

Visited with a group of friends. The food was dreadful, cold and greasy. The waitress was very good but not really supported by the Management team. We noticed that lots of other Sunday Lunches were going back so it was not just us. Very disappointing as we use Browns as a convenient base and have had good food in the... More

As a group of friends that are scattered over the country we choose to meet in London for a catchup. This year we were disappointed to receive cold main courses. Most of us ordered roasts but everything was cold. On mentioning this to our waitress Alice the management took off the price of one main - there were eight eating... More

The gentleman at the door was lovely and found us a table; the service from the waiter was excellent and the food was very good. Bar staff could improve.
