I came to Brown's as part of an office Christmas party and had a great time. We had a private room upstairs which still has the old judges bench. The food was good and well organised. Would do it again.

I chose this place because it was next door to the theatre where I would be seeing a play. You definitely need a reservation to eat here pre theatre. You won't get in otherwise. The food was so so. I ate off the pre theatre menu and thus there was not a lot to choose from. I had a Caesar... More

The amount of prawns in the prawn cocktail was on the thin side so slightly disappointed when the iceberg is the main content, prawns were small and not many. The main was Sunday lunch which was lovely in terms of taste and the amount on the plate, could have been hotter in my opinion. The waitress " Alice" was a... More

This used to be a great place to go and eat before the theatre. It has now become a rowdy bar and noisy place to eat. Only has an insipid looking Caesar Salad and a bland Tomato & Basil soup before leaving. The place was very hot, very noisy and full of waiters who were short on patience with the... More

For our visit to London we wanted to have some afternoon tea and chose this place. We had booked in advance and were promptly seated when arrived. The service after that was, however, very slow. It took 30 min for our tea to be served, the waiter never asked what kind of tea we wanted and when the tea arrived it... More

I used to love coming to this restaurant - lovely place to go after shopping but went on Friday with a friend and we had the worst service and the food wasn't very good either. We had fishcakes and sea bass - both of which were over seasoned and quite unpleasant actually. We mentioned this to the host who was... More

Queued for 10mins and then got told you had to book but asked if we could go into the bar. Confused with drink orders and tried to sell the more expensive wine and kept chatting to his bar mate.went up to order the food and ignored us and couldn't understand basic English. After two trips to the bar we were... More

I booked here by accident, a friend of mine had suggested 'browns' for afternoon tea while we were in London, unfortunately I booked the wrong browns but thought it would be a nice afternoon out anyway, I was wrong. I booked a table so at least we were seated promptly, however, the service was very slow. I should have realised... More

Having been many times before in Covent garden, Birmingham and Leeds. Were looking forward to a lovely meal after being the theatre. Arrived on time , obviously overbooked and waited 20mins to be seated. The table was not laid, was in line with the front door (draughty) and felt very uncomfortable in what felt like a walkway. Asked three times... More

I just wanted to say thanks to all the staff at Adventure Bar Covent Garden. We had a brilliant night and the service of bar staff, waiting staff and the very friendly security staff made for a great company Christmas Party. Thanks again, we will be back..
