A delightful meal all round

A group of us booked this restaurant for lunch as we had a friend from out of town in tow. The wonderful Daniella greeted us and showed us to our table which was airy and light. The food was, as usual very good with the right amount of time lapses between courses. Daniella was attentive and most... read more

Have been to this restaurant on St Martins Lane several times over the years. Great choice and range of food and drink, can normally get a table even if you have not booked, nice atmosphere and good value for money in central London.

This restaurant is in St Martins Lane, one of my favourite places in the West End. Our dinner was good. The staff was excellent and it had a very comfortable atmosphere. Decent English beer is available. Overall this was a pleasant experience and a good start to the evening.

2 of us went to browns for a pre theatre meal. given a nice seat in the window by a very friendly waiter called Trevor.the inside of the restaurant was amazing-no bland decoration like Whetherspoons. had the 3 course meals which were delivered quickly and were all very tasty. Our waiter was very informative about local attractions and places to... More

This is a large version of Browns in central London. It has a high turnover of customers - it was busy early evening on a Sunday. The Sunday menu, focused on roasts (though there are other things) is smaller than other days, but the feel is the same - standard British food; quite meat-centric. There is a reasonable children's menu... More

Slow service but we did have a huge party. If the food was as good as the salted caramel dessert, my ranking would've been much better

My friend and I popped in to Brown's for a pre-theatre meal - we had only 45 minutes - and they did not disappoint. Our waitress was charming, the food arrived quickly, and was absolutely delicious. I had a edamame salad with chicken, and my friend the burger. Really top quality. The place has a wonderfully elegant vibe to it... More

Pride of place on St Martin's Lane housed in an old court building. The business needs a bit of a facelift and someone really should change the lightbulbs, so many were out. Ordinary food and the waiting staff do the bare minimum, they really should try harder. Having said all that, it does an OK job at an OK price... More

On booking a voucher to include dinner before a show was shown to a table to high to eat with any comfort, I asked if we could have a table but was told that because it was a pre Theater Dinner,we had to sit at these tables, then paper under the table leg to stop it rocking, the staff where...
