Thank goodness we had booked a table for 5pm, within 20 minutes of arriving there was a queue out the door! Pre-theatre menu was very tasty and wll priced. Wine was good if a little pricey and out waitress - Eve, was lovely. A good meal before visiting the nearby Prince Edward theatre. Would recommend.

We visited Browns prior to watching the excellent "The Play That Goes Wrong". At 5.30pm we were seated straight away and we ordered a two course meal from the extensive pre-theatre selection. The food was very good - well cooked and tasty. The atmosphere was relaxed and our waiter was very friendly and efficient. Exactly what we were looking for... More

Safe bet pre theatre. They get a decent meal to you from the shortened pre theatre menu - well prepared, well presented, and decent value for the area.

Lovely building, good decor, efficient service and great food. Extremely busy for a Saturday but we had pre-booked our table for 6 people, otherwise at 5pm expect a 2 hours wait for a table. Highly recommended. We will return!

My husband and I went for afternoon tea for our anniversary. I'm allergic to caffeine so I was very pleased to see that they had Rooibos on the menu, which was delicious. My husbands tea could have done with being a little hotter as it was only really warm. The cakes were delicious, although the bread on the sandwiches was... More

Unfortunately despite booking a week or so in advance we were stuck on a distant table at the back so I requested we move to be in the centre of the restaurant, as it was my son's 18th birthday. We were left for 20 minutes before receiving a drink or anyone taking our food order. Once we were eventually served... More

So after a horrendous experience at the Browns in Liverpool myself and my partner where given a £40 voucher to spend at any other Browns restaurant. I booked a table for us on a Friday evening and initial signs where good after being greeted and seated our drinks order was taken quickly and they arrived within minutes. Looking at the... More

We've been here once before and really enjoyed it so we decided to come back for dinner this time. I'm glad we did. We were going to a show in the evening and ate from the A La carte menu. We were welcomed by the most bubbliest person (Jenny) and she made the entire experience great! She brought her own... More

Came here for pre theatre meal and drinks after trying a cocktail there the previous night. The food was lovely as we're the drinks but we had to wait an unreasonable about the time to get the drinks. After being seated we ordered drinks and then after 5 minutes ordered our food. The meal came but still no drinks -... More

Had a lovely meal for 4 on a Saturday evening after a show. Have eaten here many times over the years and always find the staff the right side of informal and the food yummy and filling. London prices but worth it- the cocktail menus well worth a try. Can't go wrong
