Consistently high quality food and service. The lobster is a firm favourite . The fish stew is also very tasty. Relaxing atmosphere and attractive decor - more an every day restaurant rather than special occasions.

I think without this it is rather expensive and would only be 3/5 Good- really lovely ambience, lovely friendly service (deal explained without having to ask), lovely huse red and very tasty (but quite fatty) rib eye steak, yummy chipped potatoes, yummy peppercorn sauce...ooh and i love their... I went here for a business lunch, very tasty fresh fish and sides. Delicious homemade ice cream, find coffee and top notch service. I shall return.

Four of us had a long and late lunch but felt uttely underwhelmed. Nice decor, great location but I fear that they preside over rushed business lunches and non-return tourists and behave accordingly. We had by the glass, Chablis (£8.95), Muscadet(£7.95) and Viognier (£6.20). All wines were the same coour, taste and bouquet. Say no more. Likewise the Yamazaki whisky... More

Immediately you are greeted by an excellent display of fresh fish and then a warm welcome. The display set the scene for a very enjoyable dinner which was just as described. Not an exhaustive menu but you could tell the food was fresh and well cooked. The squid was lovely and the Sea Bream very tasty. The service from our... More

I was with a group of friends in London at the start of December and we decided to try Fishworks Swallow Street. I love seafood (well i love everything) and this would have been my first time trying oysters (i love muscles) and second time trying lobster; The Restaurant its-self is of a decent size with a fishmongers presentation upon... The restaurant was virtually empty at 18:00 on a Tuesday night in January - yet we waited almost an hour for our food. When we inquired, we were told the 'printer in the kitchen had broken down' but that our meals would be come along shortly - no notice or explanation before we asked and certainly no apology of any...
