I stopped here for some lunch during a shopping spree in London. The restaurant is well presented and food was pretty good but I couldn't help thinking a bit expensive. We had fish stew, tuna and a carafe of wine which worked out about £70. Chips 3.75, seriously?

We stopped at this restaurant because the location was convenient, and we love fish. Initially we wondered why it was so sparsely populated, but then decided that was the loss of other Londoners seeking a good lunch in convivial surroundings. The staff were very welcoming, and gave us a lovely table well away from the window, so we did not... More

Arrived 1915hrs a bit early but was given a great table by the window. We had Scallops and prawn cocktail to start followed by Sea Bass/Fish Soup and Sea Bream every fish course we all had was excellent. I rarely have a desert but they had a Ginger/Treacle pudding with ice cream which was lovely. We were not rushed and... More

Wow. We saw the Bentleys neon sign and walked towards it, but my instinct(nose) lead us to Fishworks. It was superb, food to die for and friendly service - all at a great price. We will be back!

On a recent trip to London, we ate at the Swallow Street FishWorks twice. The first experience was pleasant and the food was fine so we decided to return to celebrate our last night in London -- what a mistake! I ordered salmon and it was overcooked. The waitress took my plate away and consulted with the maitre d' who... More

I’ve been to this restaurant a few times before but we called in here for lunch on a Sunday [today] after a gruelling morning Christmas shopping. My wife had the Chili squid to start which was divine. I had the assiette of oysters and I really wished that I had gone for six rock oysters on their own, because whilst... More

We ordered monk fish with the bone which was to be grilled with butter and garlic, it was quite tasteless and appeared as though it had been boiled and then grilled.

Our first visit to this newly refurbished restaurant. Its certainly all about fish with a stall to buy fish either to eat in or take away. Plenty of choices with a range of prices - even the lobster appeared reasonable. For the location, the overall cost is competitive - we had the lunch (also pre-theatre) menu which was decent value...
