Simply fabulous, great buzz and atmosphere..............enjoyed the red!

Four of us had a very friendly post work drink, Fino's is a lovely wine-bar and the staff are really friendly. Service was spot on considering how busy it was. As we drank we remembered to eat!, whilst I wouldn't go there for the dining and food (choices limited) the food was OK and service was... read more

Fino's isn't fine dining, but it is a great place for meeting friends or if you want to time travel to simple toasted sandwiches, excellent service and a great wine list. Popular with the old school Mayfair set, if you get your timing right you can get a table in one of the caves, or prop up the beautiful copper... More

On my yearly visit to London, I always make a point to have dinner here. We've never been disappointed!! The wine cellar ambience with white tablecloths, perfect low lighting and fresh flowers on each table set the tone. Excellent service (they know me now!) and food make for a perfect evening!!!

Just what you want from a cosy Italian, great pasta, even better wine and fabulous service. Have been going for years and will continue to do so.

Great service, great environment, great nibbles, great wine, great menu, unbelievable calamari, great calves liver, and great house red on the side. Didn't touch the amoretti cheese cake but I am told it was fab. I like this place. The staff are attentive and knowledgable, the chefs cook some amazing Italian food and standing at the copper covered bar in... More

Went with the family for an evening meal, unfortunately the restaurant was empty so lacked in atmosphere. The service was excellent, great wine list and the food was very good. I was recommended the liver by a friend, it did not disappoint. It must be the best liver I've tasted outside of France. The decor is very dated and could... More

A business lunch here this week went well enough. He food was delicious in slightly old school way though the whole place is an 80's time warp. Their real challenge is that the whole restaurant is in an airless and natural light free basement and its hard to come back from that however charming the staff and good the food.

A bit old school and the decor is certainly dated but the good and wine is great. Really good atmosphere. I could spend hours in here - oh I did!

Quite a strange place but been here years. the décor reminds you of the 80's but don't let put you off. The food was excellent - 8 diners and everyone really enjoyed their meals from starters to dessert. Great meat and pasta.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
