This was a dining experience worthy of the venue's reputation. From start to finish I can not fault my recent visit to the Aubrey restaurant. It was my first visit and one I had been hoping to make for a while since I live closely by and I was not disappointed and as for the staff their service was perfect... More

During our stay in The Kensington Hotel we had dinner is this lovely restaurant. The food was very good; we had a nice soup with slices of fresh baked bread; the sea food grill; chicken fillet; and additional vegetables. All very fresh, tasty and of good quality. We highly enjoyed our dinner!

The tables are well placed so as not to give a crowded athmosphere. The menu is English country house with the emphasis on fresh produce. We both started with a salad of white asparagus with... The Breakfast at the Kensington hotel was fantastic. A great surrounding and very good service. The hotel itself is very well decorated and creates a wonderful atmosphere even for a cup of tea!!!

The service was very good, the food was very ordinary.... the restaurant was an afterthought ... we elected to eat in the bar, others were in the sitting room rather than eat in a a rather soulless "restaurant" which could have been so much better. My summary would be really good bar, expensive but average food (there are so many... More

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
