We dined here a couple of years ago. We have two young children so the fact it opens around 5.30pm for dinner is good for us. We expected the same standard of food as last time but were sorely disappointed... The food was poor, my wife commented our local pub grub was better. The restaurant has had a recent refurb... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of having tea at the Aubrey Restaurant recently. We were greeted at the door and shown to the lounge where tea was served. The room exudes old world charm with couches, marble tables and gilt framed oil paintings. Thanks to George service was friendly and relaxed. My husband selected green tea and I... More

We booked in for afternoon tea and was told we had to book, which wasn't necessary as we were the only people there. The good things: - The tea was delicious. I had green tea with a slice of lemon. - The cakes were beautiful, and there were lots of them! - The atmosphere was great, very relaxing and although... More

Very nice venue but the food is extremely disappointing. Service was also very slow though the restaurant was quite empty. I will definitely not go back there for a meal, maybe for a tea...

We were looking for a restaurant near Royal Albert Hall to meet up and have a late lunch/early lunch dinner and found the Aubrey. Booked for 5 of us at 4,15 so we could relax, catch up and dine before leaving for our show at 8. Music was little loud but it was turned down upon our request. Food and... More

My sister and I had lunch at the Aubrey restaurant and couldn't have had a better experience. Leonardo and Olga were extremely attentive and offered great advice about what food to order. When it arrived - just delicious. Beautifully decorated hotel, smart atmosphere and a very friendly feel to it. Would definitely recommend!

I selected this restaurant from an on-line web site and was really pleasantly surprised. The ambiance was definately that of an English country club, all wood panelling and leather chairs. Food was a real plus, beautifully cooked and presented.Agreat menu . I was there meeting my son who is at university nearby and the relaxed but special atmosphere with great... More
