Had dinner here as part of a hotel deal. The food is regular pub standard, nothing flash. The restaurant is quite open and long/thin. It didn't really have a great ambiance but fine for filling up before heading out or turning in for a quiet night. I had prawn cocktail, grilled chicken with a sauce, chips & veggies. Then desert... All my favourite beers, scotches and wines here and all at reasonable prices. They also mix a great cocktail!

A pleasant enough venue, with very nice staff, utterly let down by a kitchen serving tasteless, microwaved and very poor food. OK to pop in for a drink but we would never eat here again.

Voucher for 3 course, as part of hotel booking. Waiter unfriendly, soup watery.. And the vegetables with the main course were overlooked, watery and uneatable. Did point out to one of the waiters..as she came to clear the plates.. She just said " oh sorry about that".. Even though we were not paying on the night due to voucher..we had of course... More

My hotel did include first nights dinner in this restaurant. Which meant a fixed dinner with 3 plates. My best guess is that the shrimp salat came directly from a can onto the salatleaves. And the grilled chicken and potatoes tasted just like the plates from the supermarket meant for microwave oven. And the Panna Cotta had nothing to do... More

As soon as we walked in from hotel entrance, we only went as had complementary vouchers, waiter said" What do you want" would have thought obvious Young waitress who was attending other tables seemed pleasanter. Food ok good price for bottle wine at least for hotel prices
