Description: This smart glass-fronted caf, restaurant bar on Belvedere Road is neighbours with the Royal Festival Hall, Yo Sushi! and Chez Gerard in that cultural hot-spot, the Southbank. The 82-dishes (excluding set, special and children meals) offer a comprehensive taste of Turkey's national (healthy) diet. There's kisir, a cold starter of nuts, bulgar wheat, herbs and spring onions. Hearty mains include kuzu guvec, a lamb casserole, and a delicious mariage of runner beans and onions served with a rich tomato sauce and rice called yesil fasulye. There are fish, pasta, rice, and special veggie dishes too. Desserts make an intriguing change from treacle pudding and cheesecake. How about kaymakh kestane - sweet chestnuts sprinkled with chestnuts and served with home-made cream?

I went to this restaurant with a large group of work colleagues and the staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Beers flowed, the mezze was really tasty and judging by the sudden quiet the mains were equally as good. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Had walked along the Thanes to get done fresh air after a day of meetings in the office and came across this place. Don't eat Turkish very often so tried it for a change. Great atmosphere inside with some authentic decor to help with the Turkish theme. Shown to a table in the corner, given bread bad olives while choosing... More

Lovely restaurant, seems very popular, nice food, feels like an authentic Turkish restaurant. Plenty of choice, steak was well cooked and Mediterranean veg.

We had an excellent meal here very good Mediterranean style cuisine and good value for money. Only one complaint the chairs were very small like infant school chairs [not as comfortable as you would expect]

Good atmosphere, nice staff and really good food. Had chicken, rice, and mana. The hummus was excellent. We were here from the United States and were very comfortable eating here.

Staying in hotel round the corner so really convenient. Friendly welcome. Nice atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. Had the London set meze for 2 and weren't disappointed. Washed down with a Turkish white. About £50 which given location round corner from London Eye we felt was value for money. Would definitely go back.

here for a weekend break to see Les Mis and go to The Shard, staying on Waterloo Road, so we wandered towards the London Eye having arrived by train at around 8.30pm. Happened upon this really pleasant place, Mediterranean cuisine with a bias towards Turkish. Good range on the menu, we went for the Meze which delivered what was expected.... More

Had supper here whilst staying at a local hotel. Service was decent, meze was fresh, with good variety of dishes and lots of taste. Some of the dishes were only 'token' dishes and therefore hardly worth the effort - the calamari dish consisted of one squid ring each! Whereas the chicken dish had loads of meat to share. Its reasonably... More

We visited this restaurant while staying in London, it's very conveniently located just by the London eye, we enjoyed our meal, the starters being very reasonably priced, as are the main courses, I enjoyed the spicy chicken pot, it was simply delicious! My partner had the mixed grill and was very pleased. The drinks are not too expensive, the look... More

We had a great dinner here - the mezze was delicious, the vibe was great and the service friendly. We came back a few days later for lunch and the atmosphere wasn't quite the same - it was very brightly lit and felt like a canteen, but the food was still lovely!
