Description: This smart glass-fronted caf, restaurant bar on Belvedere Road is neighbours with the Royal Festival Hall, Yo Sushi! and Chez Gerard in that cultural hot-spot, the Southbank. The 82-dishes (excluding set, special and children meals) offer a comprehensive taste of Turkey's national (healthy) diet. There's kisir, a cold starter of nuts, bulgar wheat, herbs and spring onions. Hearty mains include kuzu guvec, a lamb casserole, and a delicious mariage of runner beans and onions served with a rich tomato sauce and rice called yesil fasulye. There are fish, pasta, rice, and special veggie dishes too. Desserts make an intriguing change from treacle pudding and cheesecake. How about kaymakh kestane - sweet chestnuts sprinkled with chestnuts and served with home-made cream?

love this restaurant, great food, lovely service and staff are exceptional. seating can be cosy...tight? but considering the area, opposite the Town Hall, it's premium, summer they have a couple of tables outside to enjoy the stream of pedestrian traffic. 1 disabled parking bay quite close by.

Honestly amazed that this has had some good reviews. Close to London Eye.. and sufficiently off the beaten track not to be too busy. Billed as a Mediterranean Restaurant - it's a glorified kebab shop.. that also sells "Traditional Fish and Chips". A tourist trap that should be avoided at all costs. Food was poor at best. Presentation? Not so... More

We were entertaining friends over from South Africa that had never tried Turkish food. Troia delivered on taste, ambiance, location and value for money. Service was inconsistent, some servers were friendly whilst others were thoroughly miserable. But overall good night out.

Once again some talented chef's working in a restaurant in a lovely ambient setting are let down by waiters who couldn't seem to raise a smile. We ate early on a Saturday evening when Troia was not exactly full and we couldn't fault the quality of the food, the presentation, and the setting in a colonnaded block just off the... More

Located just across Westminster bridge, this is just far enough from the tourist traps of the embankment to not be crowded & still be perfectly located. Most of the tables are shaded, with some available on a covered area in front of the restaurant. Four of us were looking for a late lunch & the menu here had a nice... More

Visited this restaurant for lunch as walk ins. The lunch menu offers two or three Turkish course specials. We had a salad each and Lamb and Chicken kebabs (not the take away stuff) which came bread and homemade spicy sauce for £30 (plus service charge) all in. The service was polite and not obtrusive, very clean restaurant and outside seating... More

we ate here on a busy Saturday night, very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, staff very friendly, attentive and accommodating, yet in no hurry to push you along and get you out. food excellent, wine reasonably priced and very good (the Merlot was the house wine and most acceptable) loved the decor and different coloured lights hanging round the room. The... More

Located near the London Eye, but not on the busy embankment - just one street behind, going towards the Westminster Park Plaza Hotel - Troia offers fresh shish kebabs, and other bar-b-que favorites with and without the fancy sauces, as well as traditional mediterranean cuisine - without the high costs and a casual atmosphere that even kids/young teens can enjoy...
