Description: This smart glass-fronted caf, restaurant bar on Belvedere Road is neighbours with the Royal Festival Hall, Yo Sushi! and Chez Gerard in that cultural hot-spot, the Southbank. The 82-dishes (excluding set, special and children meals) offer a comprehensive taste of Turkey's national (healthy) diet. There's kisir, a cold starter of nuts, bulgar wheat, herbs and spring onions. Hearty mains include kuzu guvec, a lamb casserole, and a delicious mariage of runner beans and onions served with a rich tomato sauce and rice called yesil fasulye. There are fish, pasta, rice, and special veggie dishes too. Desserts make an intriguing change from treacle pudding and cheesecake. How about kaymakh kestane - sweet chestnuts sprinkled with chestnuts and served with home-made cream?

The service and food were excellent here. Delicious kebabs and lamb casserole! The staff was great-helpful and friendly. They even brought us cake with a candle for our birthday girl and gave us suggestions about local attractions. We really enjoyed the food-a nice change from what we had been eating for the previous days... and enjoyed the staff.

we had a great late dinner here (at 10:45 pm, after a theater show), on the terrace, with good & friendly service.

This restaurant is tucked away behind the London Eye and County Hall. The staff were really welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. Great Turkish style menu with lots of other choices too. We went for a Meze starter then shish kebabs. The food was delicious and well cooked. Good prices too!

We went to the London Eye and ate here with a large group. We had over five appetizers and the a main meal and dessert. With over forty in our group, it took a while but the food was spectacular. I loved lamb kabobs. Death by chocolate was decadent.

I booked Troia restaurant after looking at Trip Advisor review and wanting somewhere near to Southbank. I was not disappointed. I had to change the booking from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at late notice and they were very accommodating. The food was good , the atmosphere lively and the service and attention very good. Good ffo, great service and great value.... More

It was very packed, but two tables which ordered just after us were actually finished their meal before we got our food. Once it arrived the food was good.
