It's OK

Called on a Monday evening so perhaps not the best night to judge the standard of the place! Meal was served very quickly by a really nice friendly waiter. It was quite tasty but the rice had given me problems later on with dehli belly simptoms. A pity as the curry part of the meal was quite... read more

I have been going to this restaurant for the past 3 years, usually for takeout. It is around the corner so very convenient. Proximity allows for prompt transit time so food is warm and fresh when I receive it. Mostly I order simple staple dishes such as lamb rogan josh, chicken jalfrezi, the odd balti dish accompanied by a vegetable... More

Waiting over 3 hours for food, still hasn't arrived and utterly disgusting service. When I chased for food they were rude and shouted at me down the phone!! Not happy and will not recommend to anyone, especially if they are hungry and want their food!!!

This was by far one of take away's worst horror stories! We ordered on line and it took over 80 minutes to be delivered. We were told that we had been given 3 extra poppadum's which were not included. The food had taken so long to be delivered, that by the time we opened the items they were soggy with... More

I visit this place regulary, whenever I am in the area. Food is very fresh and tasty! It might take sometimes around 30-40mins before your order is ready but at least you know its not from a microwave! They marinate meat in spices in advance, which gives a great taste! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We've been coming here every two months since 2004 when we lived opposite. It has gone from being the local curry house to a place we regard as the best in London for taste and reliability. For a curry, that's all we ask for. Useless info but back in 2005 Ossie Osbourne used to get his take-out here when he... More

Small and friendly place. The food was 1st class and at a very reasonable cost. Well worth a visit, good and varied menu

Pleasantly surprised by this little curry house in a rather dilapidated area. I like 'Indian' food, but very often all you can taste is chili and some unidentifiable mixture of spices. Here the individual herbs and spices sang out to me, ginger, garlic, coriander, onion etc etc ... and all tasted fresh, clean and zingy on the palate. I'm unlikely... More

Used their takeaway service. Best curry we've had in years. Ordered a dansak, which was lovely, very spicy! Samosas very good and biriani was also well prepared and flavoured. Only down side was the raita which was a bit runny. Would definitely order again and highly recommend.

Not having been for somewhile was pleased to see a bright and clean decor with great staff. Food was really good with many dishes new to us. We ordered two starters for four of us and the chef sent two extra samosa so no one was left out! Word of warning. No alcohol is sold and my guess is you... More
