Visited Couscous Darna while in town for a conference. Good service, nice atmosphere but the food could use some more....taste and spice..
Great food, fantastic atmosphere, lovely staff. Stumbled across this restaurant recently and we will definitely be going back, need to try more of the yummy looking things on the menu. Ben was a really good host and made sure all the patrons were happy.
Couscous Darma is a beautiful setting with a super owner/host. We found this gem online. Food was fresh and full of flavor. I had a lamb dish with Moroccan bread, glass of wine. The cous cous, however is the star of the show. Somehow they manage to fluff it up in such a manner that it has this light full... More
Three of us went there on a Monday evening. There are lots of restaurants around it but this one had the least number of customers in it. Found out why when the bill came. The setting is very good and created the right atmosphere. The food served was good. We had a starter , a main course and a side... More
Great food, effect morocco tea. Atmosphere is good though the waiters are running all over the place which is quite stressing. Recommended!
I will start by telling you that my husband, Willie, hates couscous - or so he says. We happened upon Couscous Darna on a Sunday afternoon and since we were starving,(and I like couscous) we went for it. All the dishes sounded delicious, but our waiter offer us a lamb tagine for two with all the trimmings, so we chose... More
We had a large group at dinner, so the easy approach was the prix fixe approach, but we would have had a much better value ordering a la carte. Food was decent, and the service was good.
Just loved this little Moroccan restaurant, so glad we went! Lovely atmosphere, decor very Moroccan, very friendly staff were attentive but not intrusive. Had tagines of lamb and chicken, both delicious. Chris had Casablanca beer I had Moroccan Shiraz, both made in Morocco. Coffee with cinnamon was gorgeous. Chris had Baklava too. Highly reccommend this little Moroccan jewel!
I first fell in love with Moroccan cuisine 13 years ago when I moved to London. Cous Cous Cafe opened a few months after I moved to Bayswater. My husband and I went there at least twice a month, and it was one of the few restaurants we went back to on a regular basis. Flash forward to 7/2013. We... More
Very poor service, over-priced food and awful management. Would not bother even if they paid me to eat here again. We were early for our table so decided to have a drink outside. Over the course of 30 minutes we were asked 5-6 times (each time by a different waiter), whether we were ready to order yet? "No, we are... More
