We visited this little restaurant on A saturday lunchtime for lunch before going to the theater. I found it quite by chance last year with a friend and returned with my Son. The food is very good value 3 courses for £9.90 and is very tasty. I had grilled sardines followed by lamb shish and banoffe pie, all nicely presented... More

We went here for a post theatre meal after reading some of the reviews on here and we were not disappointed. The meal was tasty, excellent value, hot and served in a timely fashion. We had the mixed mezza and smoked salmon starters and we both chose the mixed kebabs with rice and salad. The meat was tender well cooked... More

The restaurant Bistro 1 is part of a chain of three in London. We stopped in the one in Frith Street, Soho, for dinner. The menu is quite varied, and offers English favourites such as fish and chips and other of more mediterranean sound (if not taste, I must add). Tables are rather squashed together, as one might imagine given... More

I took a pre booked group of 33 people to Bistro 1 for a meal after our theatre visit and although the restaurant is a little snug the staff rearranged the tables very quickly so we could all sit together. Our meals were delivered promptly and were very tasty indeed and served piping hot. Considering where the restaurant is situated... More

Me and my boyfriend thought we'd try here for our anniversary meal as we absolutely love Mediterranean food especially greek food. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was great, the restaurant is quirky looking & lovely. We had some tzatziki, feta salad and bread to start which was great followed by a salmon fillet and the Mediterranean prawns dish for... More

I shouldn't complain at £11.90 for two courses in the heart of theatre land, but the calamari really were awful. but my friend's salmon was good, as were the chicken kebab mains. Service was friendly. Wine was Ok abnd reasonable value. And did I say it's only £11.90 for two courses?

My Mum and I never miss a meal at our favourite bistro in Soho when we come up to London. We love the menu, the food is fantastic - especially the stuffed apricots - and for this meal the Turkish waiters were gorgeous! If you're on a budget but enjoy ample food in a Bistro environment then I couldn't recommend... More
