Good food and service

From the moment walking in until we left, everything was superb. A nice choice of the set menu at £14.90 for two courses. 5 of us and all 5 were delighted with the place. Great quirky décor and lights. The staff were excellent and welcoming and a good advert for the place. Not disappointed at all... read more

The food was ok. Not the best but acceptable! The service was very good! And the decoration was amazing! Totally recommended!

After looking around for somewhere to eat we eventually chose Bistro1. Apart from one ingle diner we were the only ones in the place to begin with, although it did start to fill up quite quickly. The service was patchy - we started off with one very pleasant waiter who then disappeared and another one took his place, but then... More

This is a gem of a restaurant. We had deep fried brie with a fruit coulis to start - it tasted excellent. There were 5 of us and we each had different main courses and we were all delighted with our choices. Mine was chargrilled salmon on a bed of spinach. The salmon was cooked very nicely and the spinach... More

went there after the show on Valentine's Day. Wasn't sure if we would be rushed with the staff trying to close.this proved not to be the case with every courtesy extended to use and the food quality excellent. We used a 3 course they're package and again this was excellent with portions being very good and not cut down like... More

Very good value for money meals, well cooked and tasty. Great quick stop off in Soho. Kebabs are very nicely spiced, good depth of flavour. Large portions and varied set menus.

We had a great meal here after a matinee theatre visit. Friendly staff, nice relaxed atmosphere and good food. We would definitely eat here again.

I visited the restaurant with a friend a few weeks ago to celebrate my birthday. I started with Grilled sardines, delicous and for the main meal had the lamb kebab, it was cooked to perfection and I did not leave a scrap. Beware as the place can get a little busy at times because of its reputation but certainly well... More

The title says it al - two courses for less than £15 is a bargain in Soho! Some of the options are hit or miss - the greek salad to start leaves a lot to be desired for - but the kebab mains are succulent and delicious. We've also eaten here in a large group and they were very accommodating.... More

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
