Great little place

We went for a quick snack and pre-show drink. The food was really and good and they were very generous with the glass of wine. Service was attentive, quick and good.

This is the perfect place if you are going to the theatre and you want an inexpensive meal with good service. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick. We chose the 2 courses for £14.90 (3 for £16.90). At this price you do not expect "fine" dining but the food was well cooked and tasty. It is... More

Food and service was amazing - a lovely little gem of a restaurant. There was so many to choose from but really glad we chose this one, would highly recommend.

Been visiting for several years now. No nonsense place where staff always very friendly and helpful. Very good value menus, food always very good, tastey and well cooked, my personal recommendation is to go for Turkish options. Vegetarian friend recommends having Meze as a main. Thanks to Memet who is always so attentive to all customers. Will be back again... More

Average quality of food, even worse service. The staff were more interested in hurrying us to getting us out of the restaurant..

We were heading for another restaurant in Frith Street when we stopped to look at this menu and were immediately attracted by the choice. We were delighted when we went inside and saw the beautiful coloured globe lights, from the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. The food was very good - the meze as a starter provided lots of variety without... More

Surprised at how quickly our starters were served, but they tasted like re-heated food. The lamb as a main was seriously overcooked and dry. Most things served with a limp salad. Overpriced bottle of house wine from an undisclosed source. Really wish I'd checked the "hygiene rating" before dining there rather than after!

I meet up with my girlfriend once a month in London for a relaxed 'girlie' lunch and we originally found this Soho treasure a couple of years ago. It is so pretty inside with the most fantastic coloured chandeliers which were specially imported and are therefore 100% unique. It is also far lager than it looks, as there is a... More

Unlike most reviewers, we weren't there either before or after the theater. Perhaps that's why we found the place to be relaxing, charming, unhurried, and just what we needed for a mid-afternoon respite from the glories of sightseeing in London. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and well-attended to. How could you not smile, with those colorful... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
