We googled Sunday Lunch in Putney Bridge and the overwhelming result was this place, awesome meal and I had the famous King's Roast. Totally hit the spot and I'm still not hungry 8 hours later. Pay it a visit.

We stumbled upon Queen Adelaide's by accident while day tripping. What a great find! First of all the ambiance is lovely. Beautiful art, comfy chairs and then we discovered the spectacular outdoor patio in the back. The sun was shinning and the breeze was refreshing. We sat under the trees while enjoying great wine and robust ale. It was perfect.... More

We had our first visit a month ago now, drink/lunch & back for a dinner, and loved it. This really could be our favourite local for drinks and food. The venue a very nice décor, a good choice of wines and ales and we was impressed with the food menu. Dinner was a Friday evening, so busy crowd of both... More

Just met a couple friends at this beautiful pub on Sunday morning. Even though we sat at non service tables the staff were all still attentive to us and even took our orders. Never had a bad experience here. I'm glad to have this as my new local having just moved to Putney. See you soon!

Not bad but bot brilliant. Pleasant convivial setting for dining. We were a staff outing who had been to the Putt In The Park at nearby. Wandsworth Park and went on for a group supper at The Queen Adelaide. The staff are great as is the atmosphere but not all of the courses were able to do justice to that.... More

First time I have been here since the queen got refurbished. Had an early weekend lunch. Staff very friendly and helpful. Fish and chips was very good and the fish finger sandwiches are superb. Will definitely be going back.

Introduced to this pub many years ago by my wife ,whose family home was just up the road.i always loved This pub ,part of the Young's brewery ( round the corner) always seemed to be a proper English pub ,comfy and relaxed. Now .like most of Young's it has gone ,to be replaced by a highly stylised makeover.have to confess... More

OK food for a lunch, but nothing more. Misunderstanding of the dessert order. We ordered three desserts but got two. The order was taken by a person with "trainee kind of appearance". But it was then sorted out to our satisfaction by another person. Nice ambiance in the pub area where we had our lunch.

Decided to try for a Sunday roast. The decor is very nice, big outdoor area. But the food was really disappointing. I'm not sure what the gravy but it just tasted like fat for the roast lamb and vegetables. Beer is pricey, food is pricey. Such a shame for a good looking venue.

Stubbled across this little gem when organising a colleagues leaving drinks at work. Very nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly too. The beer garden is large although I was a little put off that the cushions on the seats still had the plastic on. Not the cheapest pub, but then again the price was around the top end of... More
