Just met a couple friends at this beautiful pub on Sunday morning. Even though we sat at non service tables the staff were all still attentive to us and even took our orders. Never had a bad experience here. I'm glad to have this as my new local having just moved to Putney. See you soon!

Not bad but bot brilliant. Pleasant convivial setting for dining. We were a staff outing who had been to the Putt In The Park at nearby. Wandsworth Park and went on for a group supper at The Queen Adelaide. The staff are great as is the atmosphere but not all of the courses were able to do justice to that.... More

First time I have been here since the queen got refurbished. Had an early weekend lunch. Staff very friendly and helpful. Fish and chips was very good and the fish finger sandwiches are superb. Will definitely be going back.

Introduced to this pub many years ago by my wife ,whose family home was just up the road.i always loved This pub ,part of the Young's brewery ( round the corner) always seemed to be a proper English pub ,comfy and relaxed. Now .like most of Young's it has gone ,to be replaced by a highly stylised makeover.have to confess... More

OK food for a lunch, but nothing more. Misunderstanding of the dessert order. We ordered three desserts but got two. The order was taken by a person with "trainee kind of appearance". But it was then sorted out to our satisfaction by another person. Nice ambiance in the pub area where we had our lunch.

Decided to try for a Sunday roast. The decor is very nice, big outdoor area. But the food was really disappointing. I'm not sure what the gravy but it just tasted like fat for the roast lamb and vegetables. Beer is pricey, food is pricey. Such a shame for a good looking venue.

Stubbled across this little gem when organising a colleagues leaving drinks at work. Very nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly too. The beer garden is large although I was a little put off that the cushions on the seats still had the plastic on. Not the cheapest pub, but then again the price was around the top end of... More

Went for Sunday lunch recently. We hadn't booked and it was fairly busy. We ordered and fairly quickly got our food, roast beef and roast chicken. I wish I could rave about it but I can't. The veg was actually the best part but the roast potatoes and the meat were below par especially at the price they charged. Bread... More

Recently spent a sunny Sunday afternoon enjoying a very good roast lunch in the garden. We ordered a burger and a roast chicken….both were superb and reasonably priced! The garden is very good despite being next to the road and the railway tracks (not too loud). All round it's a great pub with good food, good service and a good... More

I have been to this restaurant a few times and the food is above standards. I only had 1 bad experience but they quickly rectified it. The manager takes pride of the restaurant and ensures that the service level is outstanding. This is probably the best Sunday roast I have had. The atmosphere of the pub is homely and welcoming....
