Fresh from a fabulous transformation, Queen Adelaide has been reborn as a beautiful new local. Established in the late 18th century on the borders of Wandsworth and Putney, Queen Adelaide has been the pub at the heart of this community ever since. We promise to keep it that way. Fresh, light and comfortable, your pub now boasts a contemporary and stylish design. We are particularly proud of our stunning new Dining Room and the Tasting Table, an area available for exclusive use and events. Our gorgeous garden complete with pergola and outdoor heating will serve you perfectly for all-year-round outdoors refreshment. New, fresh and seasonal dishes celebrating the best of British produce have been lovingly crafted by our team of Chefs and combined to form our new menus. A quick lunch for health-conscious office workers, a mighty three-course dinner, weekend brunch or our selection of perfect Sunday Roasts, we've got you covered. We're a pub at heart and of course we love to welcome our neighbours over for a few drinks! Our team look forward to spoiling you with our enviable selection of Young's unique cask ales, world-class wines and sprits, London and American craft beers or perhaps a perfectly refreshing long drink?

Food is a let down

At best average, they never get our food order right, it always take an age for it arrive. On one occasion it was so bad they refunded me my food bill (generous you may say but that was hour after waiting for it arrive and even then it was wrong). Nice outside space for a pint however. Dear ALSLLondon, we are sorry to hear you did not received the service we expect to deliver. Since your last visit we have made some changes in our kitchen and additional training was given to our front of house team to minimise wait on food for our guests. We agree with the comment about our garden- it really is a... More

We have been here on a sunny Sunday morning, the outside terrace is huge and lovely. We went for brunch, food is good but could be better (the bread wasn't toasted and they had only one flavour of jam: orange!). The hollandaise sauce though was superb. I will definitely return!

That's a really nice atmosphere here. Friendly staff. We went for lunch as a family group midweek. Attentive service but not too attentive. Or group included a 3 and 6 year old and they were happy to flex the menu for them. Convenient location for Wandsworth Park.

So this is a really friendly local pub serving good food. The staff were all attentive and seemed to be enjoying their work. Everything we ate was interesting, tasty and well presented. Too many places seem content to turn out rather dull 'me too' gastro pub stuff or pretentious, overpriced nonsense. Not the Adelaide. They were refreshingly bang on.

We are glad to hear we did not disappoint you David M. We strive to make our pub enjoyable place for both customers and our team, so happy to know you could sense it. Pop in back, next time you're in London. More

Loved the feel of this restaurant, very Australian feel. Staff nice and friendly and food was excellent. Try the fish and chips, delicious. Prices for food and drink were reasonable and location is great. Worth a visit and try the food, menu has a good choice and all freshly cooked.

Have eaten here 3 times in the last few months no problems . Last night had a meal with my family and everything was good until deserts are ordered! £6 for 2 strawberrys and not much else and then 20 minutes for some of the others to turn up and the crème brûlée was terrible. I complained and was told... More

TBH I'd have given 3.5 for this establishment. It's tastefully done in line with many modern refurbs. It's geared to a younger audience, which is understandable and has a good vibe. It gets pretty busy so with this you're bound to get some stressed out staff which on the day we went was actually managed quite well. We sat outside... More

We popped in for an evening meal with friends yesterday and were not disappointed. The service was incredibly fast and we were impressed with the food and super fast kitchen. My meal was absolutely fabulous and the plates were clean when we sent them back. We would definitely recommend this place and will go back.
